I have just come across the gift in a jar idea and done one for hubby filled with different packs of nuts, layered, from Lidl.:j July '08 wins: £20 Foster Grant sunglasses...Lazy Town DVD...NScessity ActivSkins Kids Sun/swim set...Paddington Bear DVD

Jane -like the idea of layered nuts - can't do it this year as OH broke his hip and I'm not very mobile at the minute so its a case of having to do what I can with whats about in the house.
Stil got some empty kitchen jars.........have to have a poke about in the pantry I think.
Oh............just thought...........got some choccies in green wrappers and some plain choccys plus a few 'matchsticks' (unwrapped) -wonder if I can layer then to make them more interesting.......I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I've spent the past 3 nights reading my way through this thread. There are some really excellent ideas here. I've starting making notes for Christmas 2011 gifts
