Just about to submit a claim to Barclaycard.
Should i charge compound interest(which they charged me) because this makes a huge difference to the claim as it goes back to 2002.?0 -

hi all...
has anybody heard of a company called ccs based in swansea offering payback on creidit cards? i had a call from them tonight nd nearly gave my details over the fone but was stopped by my 17 yr old who said it could be a scam! any help or advise out there? please help dawnietrish:)0 -
Hiya
I wonder if anyone would be able to give me advice even if it is just to say I have got no chance.
Basically I asked my bank (Lloyds TSB) if I ever had PPI on a credit card I held with them and they replied back with the last 4 digits of the card saying no I did not.
That was fine but got me thinking that I did used to get charged fees of over £30 and wondered how I would go about seeing if I could reclaim them or even the difference between what they charged then and what they charge now so I wrote to the customer relations and also the copy statement department including a cheque to both and both have replied saying they have no record of me ever holding a credit card with them and any records over 10 years old are destroyed. So my question is should I just let it go and accept that I was charged and can't reclaim?
Thank you0 -
Hi everybody,
After reading this thread I successfully claimed back some charges from MBNA. So thank you all so much for the information.
I then requested information from Capital One back in April / May. I still have not heard anything from them or the FOS so have sent them an email this morning.
Has anybody else claimed credit card charges back from capital one and did it take this long?
Thanks in advance

1) Over 6 years 99.9% no chance & within 6 years you would need pretty good reason to claim.
2) Ask for your cheques back
3) Let it go
