With the court you have given them ample time however with the FOS they have 8 weeks to respond from the receipt of the complaint or 56 straight days.0 -
Got a letter from Barclaycard after 2 months offering me a refund in full with interest on top. Although they said they thought their charges were fair.
Thanks MSE.0 -
I am just about to start reclaiming CC charges from Lloyds TSB. Does anybody have an address to sent the request for charges? CApital One sent them without asking for the money but LTSB have not payed ball. Have no reply from COne from first letter asking for refund. 14 days about to expire. Will keep you posted. The more I deal with these poeople the stronger I get. This site gives me hope and even more strength to carry on.

Sorry but not sure. I am just behind you in the reclaim process - 14 days nearl up, so will download 2nd template and prpare as not expecting positive response. Will keep you posted with developments. Think I read FOS takes longer but could still take to court after that line. Like you would be interested to know which route to post - so please, other posters, reply to thread to keep the pressure on these leeches.

LTSB - rang for list of charges or address to write to for info - was told repeatedly they cannot do this and I should use a credit reference agency.
Has anyone encountered this tactic before?
Has anyone got the correct address to send off to - My £10 is ready to go and I am now fired up having been lied to - will seek all CC charges and turn to bank charges from them as well

Hi John,
I've allowed them 40 days from first letter before I send them the second letter. I think it states somewhere that the 40 days is the allowed period of time. When Cap 1 replied to my first letter they said they'd get back to me in 28 days or else advised me on the stage they were at of the complaint and then provide a futher timeline.
I'll keep everyone posted on my claims.
Good Luck.

Hi a Press & Go/Lush 1
Looks like were all pretty much in the same boat! wishing you both the best in ur pursuit of the cash of which you've been robbed!! I'm pretty new to the site here - its great job!
Ive sent the 1st template letters to Sainsbury's Bank (for credit card), Barclay's, MBNA, Virgin Money (MBNA), Capital One
To date Sain'sburys sent me a cheque for £198 claim was for £432 so I told them thanks but I want the rest or it's Court! Usual crap about charges been fair and that they would give me the difference between £12 and £25
MBNA acknowldged the letter and they are supposed to get back by 17th May for both
Barclay's have just sent me a second letter requesting more time (I got it when I got home and when I rang from work today their line was real busy, nightmare tring to get through)
Capital one much the same
I think all these companies r snowed under in claims, well thats what theyd have you believe (spoke with Capital one about a PPI claim)
I've asked Natwest staff member for some advice as I'm on a DMP as well but I'm not to ammused at waiting about untill they feel they can deal with it. At the end of the day if you were a day late in payin ur bill they were very quich to slap on the charges so I'll let you know how it goes. To be honest I've got a few quid outta Sainsbury and I got £500 of MBNA for PPI so don't be put off this site is workin - John0 -
Hi,
Just got a reply from Tesco re my Late fees and Overlimit charges. Standard response of no you're not getting your money back, fees in line with Office of Fair Trading Standards. So obviously I'll be sending the second response letter to them. But the best bit is, they have included a letter to another client who is requesting one £12 charge and they are paying her that money plus the 8% interest. Not that it matters, but she is going through one of those claims companies.
So my question is, do I mention that they are so relaxed with customers information that they included another clients claim letter with mine and also are refunding her the £12 so why not my claim?
All comments welcome.
