Credit Card Reclaiming Discussion

Hi

New to all this, have read lots of posts. About to sent 1st letter off to capital one, they sent all my statements free of charge after lots of hassle over the phone. Claiming all charges plus interest totalling about £1450. I am following the MSE guidelines. Will keep you updated and post requests for help as and when. Lots of strenght gained from successes so thanks already

Thank you the claim is definitely a credit card I have checked the documentation and it was the bank charges claim that they settled. Can you suggest a course of action now I have not yet received any direction from the court so assume the case is still stayed. When they settled the bank charges claim it was still early days (2007)

Why are they seeking a strike out of the credit card claim?
They cannot use the Supreme Court decision to strike it out but you may have to defend the strike out though.

Hi, im trying to reclaim my PPI i was missold by Morgan Stanley credit card, but i think they became Goldfish and ive been trawling the internet for contact details but am not having much success. I sent my template letter to the old Morgan Stanley address but never received a reply. Does anyone have any suggestions please ?

Have just spoken to capital one this morning after getting no where with fos as its longer than 6 years, the woman just kept saying the account has been sold when i told her that going down court route. do i still send them the letter threatening court action or will i not get any where with this pls advise

Re Capital one - replied today - very quick - but stating they would take up to four weeks to investigate claim. Should I stick to the 14 days stated in the letter then send 2 letter?

Hi,

I could be mistaken, but I thought that you are supposed to allow them 40days. I am allowing them 40 days and they have said that they will reply in 4 wks.

Could be wrong.
