    Don't accept it write back and ask for the full amount, normally pay outy on the second letter, that was my experience.

    we have recieved our cheques back from mbna today no quible but should we accept im starting to think accept but woudl love some advice have been offered 65 on mine and 104 on hubbies i had 5 x 25 charges with 19 interest the rest were 12 charges which there were many only added them to force their hand so to speak x on hubbies there were 8x 25 charges and 36 interest so basiclaly they have given us the difference back from 12 fees and no interest ? what do u think ? :A

    there were several 12 fees on hubbies too sorry missed that out x

    I have been offered a settlement figure that i am going to take but reading the letter it states that it will the settlement will be applied to my account and not in cheque directly to me! What are the chances of that?:confused:

    It reduces your overall debt to them or might clear the existing debt so it's a positive in the long run.
