Personally I would start again and if you dont have a cheque book, either use a friends or better still use a postal order instead. Send this letter recorded delivery to:-
Citi Cards - Statements
Richard Cooke - Data Protection Officer
Citi Cards
1 Exchange Quay
Salford
Manchester
M5 3EA
I dont know the telephone number for this dept (unless anybody else can help with this ?) but the tel no for customer serv is T0870 908 6000 and just ask to be transferred to the data protection officer.
Good luck.If you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!!0 -
Is this template just for claiming charges on credit cards or can you use it for claiming the charges on store cards too? I closed my store card a couple of years ago but they made alot of money in charges while it was active.0

Card: Halifax
Amount claimed: £1004 + £215 interest
Amount recieved: none so far.......
Sent back letter asking for full amount of charges, only worry i have with this is the card has been passed on to Blair Scott and Oliver with a balance of £1160 will halifax just clear this balance automaticly or should I request refund be paid into my current account as I have spoken to BOS and they will settle at £600 so I dont want to pay them the whole lot!!!
Also, does anyone know who to write to for list of charges on an old goldfish card from about 4 years ago??
Thanks for all the people who post on here its a great help!0 -

Hello everyone!
I sent the first letter requesting for the default charges from MBNA and COOP on thursday enclosed with a £10 cheque each but then the next day I suddenly realized that I haven't sent it through recorded just with a 1st class stamp.
My question is has anyone done this and received a reply?
Thanks0 -

This is because they increased your balance without your permission, which is in contravention of the small print. They say you can add this onto your credit card and then claim this amount back when they have won your case for you (fully refunded if no case). So add £1000.00 more debt plus interest as this can take up to 6 months to settle, sounds like a good way to get deeper into debt to me. Whose to say that its a scam and they run off with your money?
All sounds to good to be true but as Martin says what is to good to be true isn't.
This is a scam company working out of Fuengirola in southern Spain.
They have previously been known as Morgan Green Ltd, Day Cooper Adams Ltd and European Mediation Ltd.0 -
