Well done on the successes. It is really inspiring me.
May I ask, are the recent successes for cc refunds all now due to hardship claims or simply asking for a refund?
Little Mo - thanks for your motivation on the other thread. I posted off to three banks yesterday to ask for a list of charges. Fingers crossed.0 -
Hi Guys,
Needs some good advice.
Basically I have banked with santander (formally alliance and leicester) & MBNA (formally alliance and leicester i think), and was wondering should I ring them both up as I have 2 accounts in question one is a current account and the other is a credit card. I have had these account for around 8-10 years and have lots of charges on them.
The question is should i call them both and ask for a statement of charges or full statements and also should I write to them via post, which would be better and quicker. Also If i request statements for the last 8-10 years will it cost a maximum of £10 or more??
Can you please give me some advice as soon as possible so I can get the ball rolling.
Thanks people.0 -
Provider: Monument (previously Providian)
Amount Reclaimed: £1104
Amount they paid: £492 :T
The story: Sent initial letter on 10/1/2012 after trawling through my statements and adding up all the charges. They replied within a few days saying they are looking into it and will reply by 10/2/2012. Letter received today dated 9/2/2012 offering £492. I decided to accept as I don't want it to drag out and I do feel responsible for some charges due to account mis-management so I'm happy with the offer. Letter on its way to Vanquis now!SW Week 1-5: -12lb Week 6-10: -4.5lb Week 11-15: +0.5lb Week 16: -1lb Week 17: -1lb Week 18: STS Total Loss -1 Stone 4lb!0
