I think I'd be asking to keep the old turbo, you never know it might come in handy one day. - it could still be good. sounds like they are clutching at straws on what to do next.
Still harvey's idea about the FAP filter doesn't sound like an expensive repair, so you could take it to someone else and ask that they do that for you.0 -
Well, so far, no car.
We phoned them at 5pm, and they were busy and would get back to us. They told my DH on Friday that I'd have the car today. That was only after DH ahd phoned them to ask. They have had the car since LAST monday.
Their customer service is way below acceptable.

Them intermediate services are basically a lights and levels check.0 -
Also, I wish you'd have bought your car from me, cos I would have sorted it by now using my method!!0

Ok Harveybobbles.....get this.
My car is still in bits apparently! They have fit the new turbo, together with some sort of belt which was making a noise. All this is under warrenty. It seems that the car is still making a funny noise - this noise wasn't present prior to them having the car.
I am leaving for Manchester airport this afternoon to fly to Vegas in the morning - flying home then from San Francisco on 4th nov. They are keeping the car til we get home.
This means they will have had it 4 weeks exactly!
I am waiting for them to call me to arrange them picking up the courtesy car, as it'll be only sat in our drive til we arrive home.
This is from a Main Dealer in West Yorkshire.
AVOID THEM !!!

Don't they offer any more extended warranty?0

Has Yorkshire-Lady been too busy enjoying her new car so much that she forgotten to give me an update?! Or did she mention somewhere that she's going away for a bit...?0
