:xmastree:70cl vodka - any brand
200g caster sugar
zest and juice of 8 unwaxed lemonsWarm a little of the vodka in a pan then add the sugar until it is dissolved - Do not allow it to boil.Remove from heat when sugar is dissolved, add lemon zest and juice. Stir in the remaining vodka then pour into a bottle and freeze. This keeps well in the freezer.Remember to use only the yellow zest, not the white pith. A lemon zester is the best thing to use.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

if i were making this to give as presents, could i omit the freezing step and just give it as it is, with instructions to put into the freezer prior to drinking?

Also with the skittles vodka, as well as taking out the green ones you need to take the waxy film off the top before you drink it!!!
(perhaps this is just me)

i have it on good authority( i dont drink vodka myself) that refreshers and love hearts work very well in vodka. But be sure to take a good glug out first as it may fizz up out of the top of the bottle !:rotfl:Going it alone and feeling the pinch
