You can.
My friend made me cherry lips Vodka.
Some people make skittles vodka.
Any sweets I suppose. Although I suppose some will make 'better' than others.
It can be made in its original bottle. Just drink some out of it first
It doesn't have to be made far in advance. Once you put the toffees in it only takes an hour or 2 for them to dissolve. So you could make it the day before you are giving it to someone for xmas.
My friend took the original label off and then made her own on the pc and stuck it onto the bottle - a nice touch for christmas.
I'm sure if you google skittles vodka/toffee vodka recipes you'll get some other ideas:)
I store mine in the freezer - vodka doesn't freeze. So, it stay really cold and tastes much nicer
I'll go find some links for youSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Found this about skittles Vodka:
Vodka Skittles by Jose
1 part Vodka
Skittles
Get a bottle of Vodka any type. Open the skittles bags(2 two bags) and take the green skittles out. Pour the skittle bags into the Vodka and let it disolve for about two days. After the two days are over get ready to taste the rainbow in great shots. It can be mixed with different drinks, but, the taste of the rainbow will be lost.Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -

Think I might treat myself to some toffee vodka this year. made a Raspberry 1 last year was yummy but a bit of a faff.
If you do make the skittles 1 remember to take out the green 1's or your vodka will look like dirty pond water.Booo!!!0 -
OMG - this sounds like Dooleys - but minus the price tag!

Do you think empty olive oil bottles would work for this? Well washed of course!!
Suppose you'd have to cut the toffees etc quite small to fit them in!Joined SW 24/02/2011 :j71lb/28.5lb-6, -2.5, -2, -1, -2 -, -2 sow, +3(holiday), -5.5 (*) +0.5, +1, -4, -0.5(*), -3(10%!!) +0.5, -3, -1, -1(2st:j)

I dont see why olive oil bottles wouldn't work. They're a nice shape too for gifts. And it will be cheaper as you will be able to use one bottle of vodka for 2 bottles of olive oil size? Maybe? - good thinking batman
Yep, you do have to 'smash' the toffees a bit to get them in.
I think thats why mine dissolved quicker than others have said because I bashed them a fair bit with a rolling pin :rotfl: so the pieces were small when they went in.Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0
