Kantar - Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel

Obviously I’ve stopped after the warning, but I don’t see how it identifies anyone as a panel member. If I write 7/1 on the back of a birthday card to remind me to post on the 7th, does that mean the recipient is on the panel or more likely that it is a birthday card?elsien said:
I think the problem with this is that if this then identifies other panellists, they are removed from the panel. So it can be an issue for the person you are sending things to if you write the details on the envelope.silvercar said:

Surely that is against the rules? I would be worried about not being reimbursed for not following instructions properly.bristolleedsfan said:

IMHO if they wanted to change something out should have remove the prestamped parcels and made them all APLs instead - I find it much more awkward going to a PO to hand over something that has already been stamped - the sub post office staff certainly don't like it!
Reimbursement was made in advance, was only a case would the extra for posting the item(s) be made. ( did) I had been expecting something to be said ( never did) this spanned years over different posting panel stints
I once had a warning for writing the date to post on the back of an envelope. Considering this is quite a reasonable thing to do, especially if like me you have birthday cards ready for posting, I was surprised and disappointed.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. With letters I write the posting date and required am or pm posting time on the inside of the envelope flap which obviously disappears soon as letter is sealed.1

I also write the date on the inside of the flap as a reminder without it exposing other panellists.Primrose said:With letters I write the posting date and required am or pm posting time on the inside of the envelope flap which obviously disappears soon as letter is sealed.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Admittedly I did get the idiot who had written the posting date, R number and smart code in biro on the back of the envelope. But there have been panellists who have been contacted by RM to say they are being removed from the panel because they have been identified without saying how, so writing things on the envelope could be a part of that and best to play safe.silvercar said:

My personal opinion is that it's bleeding obvious to anyone with half a brain that we're on the panel, given that you can feel the smarts, the posting pack and cubes are obvious and our volume of mail changes dramatically every 6 months, but there you go.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Sorting offices and Postman will all know return address on mailouts which never changes belongs to Kantar, previous address regular Postman started crossing through unfranked stamps when I became a Panelist which he never did prior .....elsien said:silvercar said:

If postman has rumbled that I’m on the panel he hasn’t taken much heed. People with the same house number in the next road are forever getting some of my post. Last week they had an envelope containing an RFID.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
