I’ve been given my first cubes and mailbag with manifest document – I’ll be honest I feel a bit silly taking this to my local post office – what if they ask what it is, what’s in it (obviously extremely light) and I’m not able to answer?! Any advice from you knowledgeable a lot would really be helpful! Thank you.
In the past I have generally said "mostly air but also some paper and nothing which is not allowed".  The Help section online has suggestions.
Do they tend to ask you anything about the mailbag itself? Such as who is the business owner etc?
No, but then I've only had a bag once. Any question that you don't know how to answer just say you don't usually do the post, so you don;t know.

Well done, still trying to get one.🙁
  • Just out of interest how often do you have to take parcels to the post office? I signed up ages ago before seeing this forum thinking it was just surveys and have just received my login, etc and been sent stuff to return via postbox. I don't mind dropping stuff in the postbox but it will be more hassle then it's worth for me if I regularly have to go to the post office.

It varies but at least once or twice a month.

You do get paid at least £2 per visit to the Post Office if you have send something from there.

In my own experience, once or twice a month but it’s not been every month.

If you don’t want the hassle then just send them a message to say you don’t want to post parcels.

However, each visit to the post office to post parcels gets you £2 in vouchers.

I'm happy to be corrected but I think you can only opt out of posting parcels during the pandemic.  In 'normal' times posting parcels is an integral part of panel membership and there isn't a choice to opt in / out.

I have a parcel to post on Monday!! OMG does the bag really have to be that big? The one they sent me is 103cm x 60cm, and I've only got one cube to put in it. Also they haven't sent me any plastic zip ties. In a world where we should be reducing our plastic waste, why are they encouraging us to use more by forcing us to use these plastic sacks and plastic zip ties, just to post a cube. Does anyone know if these sacks are reusable?
At the moment I have no reason to visit the post office so will be hanging onto it for now. Any idea if I can post this into the local parcel box?
