I had a cube once covered in stamps instead of an APL. I reported it because I couldn’t log it - they asked me to send a photo so they could follow it up,

If enough people email them to complain re. The new 200 points per visit to drop the new style parcels then maybe they might change their mind? (Wouldn't hold my breathe but worth a try ifpeople email them, only take 2min to msg via app)

IMHO if they wanted to change something out should have remove the prestamped parcels and made them all APLs instead - I find it much more awkward going to a PO to hand over something that has already been stamped - the sub post office staff certainly don't like it!
Now they are ditching APL makes no difference me saying this, instead of buying APL during the course of three posting stints i  used stamps I had been sent for being on panel, nothing was ever said and I received full incentives, whilst post offices dont like pre-stamped items reality is stamps are sold elsewhere for purpose of people sending items.

Presumably the recipient never said it wasn't an APL (and this was before we had to write the number) - or, more likely, the TNS system never flagged up to a human being that it wasn't an APL.

I've today received one of the sacks and a cube to send in it.  The cube is already addressed and yet they have sent a printed address label rather than just the instruction about affixing the label to the insert.  After tieing the bag it's ready to take to the PO.  It says, "Make sure you take the Manifest along with your mail mag when you're going to the Post Office and post it before the last collection time."  Nothing to say whether you are supposed to get the manifest back after signature by the Accepting Officer.   Anybody know?

The guy at the post office told me to fold the manifest and slide it between the bag and the cable tie.

Surely that is against the rules? I would be worried about not being reimbursed for not following instructions properly.

I  had one too with stamps on and they queried it and had to send a photo, so I assumed it was against the rules

The purpose is to monitor the Royal Mail postal service. The role involves preparing letters and parcels for the survey and posting them usually with a chip called ...
    Called......RFID.

    APL is automatic price label.

Reimbursement was made in advance, was only a case would the extra for posting the item(s) be made. ( did) I had been expecting something to be said ( never did) this spanned years over different posting panel stints

Almost wish you had shared this knowledge earlier.

I once had a warning for writing the date to post on the back of an envelope. Considering this is quite a reasonable thing to do, especially if like me you have birthday cards ready for posting, I was surprised and disappointed.

Re:- Writing the date on the back of the envelope.  Could you not use post it notes instead, so it's easily removable before you post the letter?

I think the problem with this is that if this then identifies other panellists, they are removed from the panel. So it can be an issue for the person you are sending things to if you write the details on the envelope.
