According to my regular postie, there is a large notice at the sorting office with my name and address on, telling staff to make sure that my post is delivered correctly. He said this is due to the large number of complaints I've made (this is true) about post being dumped in the porch. If they've clocked I'm on the panel, this has made no difference whatsoever as every temporary worker reverts to dump letters on the floor and run.

On receiving items to be prepared I do them all at the same time. I then attach a yellow stickie on the item and on day of posting remove it.

After messaging (twice) that I am not available to do post office posting, today I get a message to tell me that I will be sent a parcel shortly that will require taking to the post office.
makes you wonder if they read messages.

Me too. Today I received what I thought was an answer to my message about not going into the PO to post parcels / cubes. Instead it was a message telling me how to post parcels! I have just 'phoned them and it is (hopefully) sorted now.

I’ve been given my first cubes and mailbag with manifest document – I’ll be honest I feel a bit silly taking this to my local post office – what if they ask what it is, what’s in it (obviously extremely light) and I’m not able to answer?! Any advice from you knowledgeable a lot would really be helpful! Thank you.

In the past I have generally said "mostly air but also some paper and nothing which is not allowed".  The Help section online has suggestions.

I answer origami, which isn't a lie. As @General_Grant says the help section has suggestions.

Do they tend to ask you anything about the mailbag itself? Such as who is the business owner etc?
