Also they haven't sent me any plastic zip ties. In a world where we should be reducing our plastic waste, why are they encouraging us to use more by forcing us to use these plastic sacks and plastic zip ties, just to post a cube. Does anyone know if these sacks are reusable?
At the moment I have no reason to visit the post office so will be hanging onto it for now. Any idea if I can post this into the local parcel box?
The sacks are used again and again and again and ...

I searched all around in case they'd fallen out, but can't find them anywhere.
I've improvised with an elastic band for now.

Also it's a dark grey check pattern with Royal Mail & Crown logo printed on it which altogether makes the inside very dark and hence the not immediately obvious zip ties hiding down the bottom.
Very much like this one

Thanks for your replies
Do you just message them to opt out of going to the post office at the moment or is there somewhere you can select this on the app? Also, say in a few months that option is no longer available or I complete a month and then realise it's not for me, is it fine to just leave the survey?

Why wouldn't the bag be re-used? The bags I have seen used at work have been delivered by RM and look as though they have been used by other businesses. Any way they have a recycle logo on them and if they aren't the type which are passed on to other companies to use for mail, RM must surely have a recycling facility.2 -
quoia said:My sack is basically the same size (105cm x 60cm) but has plastic loops around the top that I presume you thread the zip tie through.

I have 2 items to put in my sack!To opt out of posting you message them, and keep messaging them until they reply!Their reply says that your request is noted and to please let them know when you are able to send parcels in the future.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. You certainly can ask them not to send you parcels to post at the moment due to covid (I have done this). However, once things are back to normal you will have to post parcels as its an essential part of the survey. You can leave the survey anytime, just let them know.
