Our local post office opened yesterday after being closed for two weeks because a staff member had Covid.  I was due to post a cube while it was closed and wrote to them telling them why I couldn't post it and asked if they could stop sending me parcels to post for a while.  It's open now but I'm quite nervous about going in there now.

It is that time again for a new thread as the old one is about to approach its 314th page. Thanks to 3010 for posting the last thread.
We are already on page 402. Threads do not have to be "remade" at certain intervals like the did before on the previous database. The Daily Mail thread has in excess of 2267 pages

Which raises the question, why have you posted a quote, namely the first 2 lines, from the very 1st post of this thread made by sarah1972 on 2nd August 2017 ?
Having joined MSE on 12th Aug 2020 you leave it until today to make your first 4 posts ever, and the other 3 are all as "dodgy" as this one!

    Hi Everyone,

Had a new posting pack come today - apparently I am now a "live" panellist.  They've sent me some more stamps and a presentation pack. They have included an envelope to return smart cards, they have said if I no longer wish to be a panellist, then to return unused cards.  I still have 2 of the "training" ones left, do I need to return these?

    Thank you.

    Message in inboxes..

The Royal Mail Survey during lockdown

As you will be aware, the UK government and devolved administrations have announced further restrictions due to the increase in Covid-19 cases.

Royal Mail continues to provide a vital service during lockdown, and Post Offices remain open. More businesses and individuals than ever have been relying increasingly on postal services, so your participation in the survey is crucial to help Royal Mail continue providing their services consistently.

That said however, your safety is paramount, so we are reissuing the guidance we sent just before Christmas:

    ·         Only complete your postings when you’re able to do so safely and lawfully. For example, if you need to visit a Post Office anyway; or if your exercise, shopping trip or dog walk takes you past one of your registered postboxes.

    ·         If you’re not able to post your items according to plan, post them when you are able to. Remember to record the actual posting date of any delayed items. You may receive some automated reminders about missing data – please disregard these until you have restarted your normal posting routine.

    ·         Your incentives and prize draw entries are unchanged. We will continue to send your rewards and auto-enrol you in any Prize Draws you would be eligible for. As such, you will not lose out if you need to shield or pause your participation.

We’ll continue to keep you updated. If you need further advice, please get in touch.

They are of no use to you so do return them as they can be used in training other people.

Has anyone received February's stamps yet? They usually come month on advance and I've already received posting packs until 3rd week of Jan and no Feb stamps still.
