I'm lucky and don't live very far from a postbox so can do it at home.  It takes a minute to walk home after I've posted the letter and I'm sure logging it a minute late won't matter.

Using the App or on the website ?

it,s all very well telling people to record posting ti es on their ohone app at the moment of posting but I. Rough areas this risks yiu having yiur ihone snatchedby A passing criminal and I refuse to put myself at risk I. This way. I. It's the time of posting and enter it as soon as I get home.
Neither am I willing to risk an attack. I note the time of posting and enter it when I get home.
I would be willing to use the app if we were reimbursed for using data, until then no.
Totally agree. The rewards are not enough to cover cost of using data. If they are going to force the use of the app at the post box, I would want payment for data and possibly insurance against loss/damage to my person and phone in the event of an attack. Otherwise I am not willing to do so. They seem to assume everyone an inclusive data allowance on a contract phone rather than a pay as you go phone or let alone not have a smart phone. Perhaps they could supply panelists with a device to record postings.

  • Is anyone else noticing fewer test than normal? It may be just me but the calendar has fewer entries than normal. I did wonder if Royal Mail is under pressure due to the virus and christmas approaching and the survey work has been reduced to help.

I am certainly receiving far less items to record in the last few weeks. Used to get something 3-4 times a week. Recently it’s only been once a week.

I’m still being asked to post 2-3 items a week though.

Where do you guys live?!? :o:#
My reason for not using my phone is that I am on pay-as-u-go and don't want to spend money on data...

Using the app.  I live about 100 yards from the postbox.  I don't feel safe using my phone in the area I live in.

I find it quite sad that people live in areas where they don't feel safe using their phones. Not sure if it is because they have fancy phones that would be a target wherever they lived or if the area is rough for any phone to be visible, but I do find it sad.

  • I don't have a flash phone but I'd be lost without it.  I don't feel secure walking around talking on a phone and when I walk my dog the phone is in my pocket in case of emergency.  I never answer it (just in case)

hi I am on training at that moment and just had an email saying 'I'm doing great' and will be receiving some stamps soon. they said I will be receiving larger items soon and if I haven't opted out of posting cubes, I will be receiving some. how do I opt out of cubes? am i allowed to or will they take me off the panel? trying to avoid going into the post office( and shops) as much as possible and wondering how I go about this?
    thanks
Yes you just need to send them a message via the website - I asked myself for parcels for me to post to be stopped temporarily due to covid and my husband being high risk.  I'm trying to keep visits to shops to the absolute minimum.  They will be fine with that as they are trying hard to make it possible for panelists to still be able to post normal mail and receive items from other panelists

Thank you for this.  I will send them a message as well regarding sending parcels, as I don't want to be going to the PO un-necessarily, but I'm fine to receive parcels and send mail that goes in the post box.   How long does the training normally last please?  I received 2 letters today, that's a total of 4 and I've sent 4 myself (2 this week and 2 last week).

Its usually 2-4 weeks depending on whether you have been a panelist in the past, and the random whim of Kantar - unfortunately.

Yes my test items have gone down to 1-2 per week for the most part.  Think they are struggling for panelists due to covid so not so many people available to send items to/from.
