Is there any way to report a postboxes that are not getting collected? I know you can confirm if the 'last collection time' is correct on the postbox, but what about if the day is completely off? I've sometimes posted items on, say, Monday, and the day is still on the previous Thursday, for example ... so assuming the postman hasn't come to empty it for 5 days, which would make sense as to why every other item of mine is getting flagged recently.

Also is the day displayed on the postbox bar thingy, the day of the next collection, or the day that the last collection took place?
The day plate should be the day of the next collection.  In my local box sometimes they get jammed stuck until someone takes the time to put it right.
In the past I think TNS may have asked about the day being displayed but obviously do not do so now.

Like elsien I find I can normally tell whether there are many items in awaiting collection - not 100% reliable to simply use the sound made but it is a popular box (is an NHS priority one, on a corner, near a nursing home).

Thank you for confirming, I go by sound too, just wanted to check if there was anything further I could do to bring up the issue with TNS, as it's been pretty bad recently.

I am certain at this point that this one particular postbox on my street is only being collected every 5 days or so, and I am undecided between continuing to use it, so the issue is highlighted by TNS, or walking out further to another box, so I don't get so many queries to resolve!

Feel bad for anyone in my area using this box for their 1st class post! :#
But isnt that the point of the survey,to highlight when collections are not taking place.
The easiest way to "report" the box is to use it...log that you have posted and if it fails the timescale checks that are subesquently done then thats RM fault/

True, though it's been going on a very long time though and no improvement, so am getting quite sick of the constant queries to resolve. I would usually use this mailbox for my personal mail, and had I not been on the panel I would have probably reported the lack of collections to Royal Mail myself. Hoping TNS are actually escalating these issues to Royal Mail because it feels like it's not making a difference at this point.
  • I  do wonder what TNS actually report.

In the past I've reported the times displayed in a PO not being as expected.  The system then asks you what the times are and whether you want them changed for each weekday.  Changes are accepted for that session but the next time they have wound back to whatever TNS have been advised by RM.  It turns out that POs have some flexibility in what they display in that RM could say the last collection is A o'clock but the PO can display something like A minus 15 minutes.  (I can't remember how long the window is.)
  • Just received invite to re-join active service in December.  Hope I receive pocket diary - for years used electronic diary and didn't use paper one and then a couple of years ago began to find them helpful in their own way

Currently I'm on the panel, this morning I received pack for posting, and included there was a book of 12 first-class Christmas stamps.  It was a nice surprise.
Ah - the Christmas stamps. You've just reminded me that I'm normally on the live panel by now each year - but no invite this year

And I have just been sent a link (only valid for 24 hours) offering me a place on the main survey again.
Accepted and my first pack will arrive the w/c  30/11.
Kantar have definitely improved the onboarding process!

A bit of a joke really.  My PO shows as 5.00 on TNS.  The PO say 4.45 for guaranteed collection but normally picked up between 5.30 and 6.00 when the post box outside is emptied.

Just had a correctly delivered pop up for December. First one I've managed to grab for a while.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Me too.  I,ve been accumulating the reward points since the system went all electronic but not really sure to redeeem them.  For the nin techies like me they're a pain.  Would make life much easier if I could just trade them in for cash !

I do them as amazon vouchers. Seems the easiest way if you know you're going to use amazon. I'd probably prefer the cash option as well though, if there was one.

Just got an invite to rejoin the main panel. I’ve only been off about 4 months so maybe they are bringing panellists back early in my postcode area. First pack due early January and no mention of retraining so hopefully can get straight into things.
