It can happen, yes. When I started training (a few years back) I had items every week, but I think on my last retraining stint there were some gaps where I had nothing.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I have not received my posting pack for items to be posted this week. I have tried ringing them and am getting a strange message telling me their office is closed for Friday 19th April & Monday 22nd April. Then it cuts me off. Shouldn’t be surprised I suppose having experience of their operations over the years.

Currently I'm on the panel, this morning I received pack for posting, and included there was a book of 12 first-class Christmas stamps.  It was a nice surprise.
Ah - the Christmas stamps. You've just reminded me that I'm normally on the live panel by now each year - but no invite this year

Same here. I wonder when we will be invited back?
Same here but my last session was extended - so I got Easter eggs for a first time - then covid extended so lasted 10 months.  Will likely have to beg for a diary as well.

Huh, my envelope containing the Easter eggs was empty.. apart from the compliments slip

Just decided to prepare my items for this week but chaos. Online is showing (apart from one cd box)  different  receivers to the paper schedule.  I have the paperwork for the one on the paper schedule but, of course, can't enter it as it is not online. I have no paperwork at all for the other 2 items on the online schedule. Waiting to hear if I just bin them.
Just been online & the missing item is now showing so I can now send it.  No reply from Kantar yet (not unexpected) but no paperwork received but as they are actually due to be sent next week still time for that to arrive.

What do you mean by training?  I have had 2 items to send and have received 2 items myself.  I have been using the app to log my items.  Had a bit of a game with logging the post box I used to post but got it sorted in the end. Have been registered with them for ages, but have only started doing it.  Being at home makes it easier to monitor the time the items arrive.

Not quite survey related, but for those who remember the good old days of two deliveries a day and Sunday collections.
Royal Mail reintroduced a second delivery a while back (just for parcels) and now the Sunday collection is temporarily coming back due to Covid

Training is when all the items you send go to the same address, and all the ones you receive have cardboard rather than real RFIDs. So that people can practice and demonstrate they know that they're doing before going on the live survey. People normally get put on  a training stint after each time they've been rested as a refresher.
Although given some of the ways people send things, it's a moot point as to how much notice they take of what they should be doing.

Occasionally when training the RFIDs are not cardboard but old RFIDs in their plastic wrappers. This is rare.
