    Good morning :)
Thanks...but Believe me the shame is all mine... debt built up so bad that I have no choice! Ideally I need to find £17k in the next few months... I'm out of work from ill health and trying hard. Each £1 goes straight to the cards... fingers crossed we can all achieve our aims, however big or small. I have to push on and try my best. Making me more ill knowing the amount I owe... I lay awake at night feeling sick about it 😢 Still have a house full of junk to sell and hope it will help get me there.

Good luck this week everyone xx

Hugs and I hope you make your target. You have faced up to your debt which is a big thing and are doing brilliantly on getting extra cash to get it under control. You should feel proud of that.

I 'mini-stooze'. I use my cc for everything as I get cash-back, grab all the offers and use it abroad free. I have the money in another account earning interest and pay the cc the last day it's due every month. I know it's not much but it all adds up over the years

I kept putting it off again and again, as it seemed such a daunting task.. Then I read something and took a different attack. I picked one cupboard, one drawer at a time, and spent 30 mins - set an alarm - each day until it was done. That spurred me on and now I'm nearly there. I think if you can break it down into small sections it doesn't seem so frightening :D

Hope you all have a super Tuesday

That sounds like a plan. I'm stuck in the shop again but have brought a bag of paperwork in with me to sort out so might try that to start with and see if I can start to make a dent.

Meant to say that I like the idea of setting a timer too. Will definitely try that. Thanks x

Good Morning, all:coffee:. I hope we're all set for a profitable day.

My potential eBay buyer bit the bullet and actually did buy and has already paid:j. I'm really pleased I listed that item (I only did it because of the final fees offer) as I thought it more appropriate for nearer Christmas and was going to wait;). That's £32.60 to add:j

    Well done :j
I can't come anywhere nearer matching other people's eclectic mix of income streams, I tend to concentrate on just a few tried and tested methods. No apps or anything phone-related for me. Congratulations to one and all who take the time and trouble to do all that every day. I know it all adds up but, to be honest, I can't be bothered. Life's too short and all that but I admire everyone who does all these things:A. Good Luck:beer:

shariann, congratulations on your win:T. I know what you mean about the best laid plans, especially in the decluttering department:o. Don't beat yourself up about it though, you needed the long holiday to relax and recover ready for the year ahead.

Thanks. Trouble is I don't feel like it has been much of a break either as have been working at the business most days. Ah well, I am much better off than some folk

CatherineMM, congratulations on making so much:T. Brilliant total so far and we've still got over a week to go. You put us to shame though:o. Not intentionally, of course.

Thanks for all your support as usual CBC

  • Thats a lot of money to find in a few months. Best of luck to you and you are in the right place for some moral support. X

Thanks :) I know I will not achieve that amount in reality BUT it's my end target and I have it set in my sights... every penny will help. And surprising how quickly it adds up too!

I got some free food today off a gardening friend so am planning on making up a few meals for the freezer and pinching some pennies there too... it can be rather addictive to become a Scrooge... my sons usual sweet shop trip was just reduced from £1 to 80p and I felt like I had won the lottery to have change 😂

Good luck everyone and thanks for the support x

Being scrooge like just becomes second nature :rotfl: I hate parting with money for something that I could grow on my allotment or get for "free" on Amazon using gift vouchers I have earnt. My next bulk purchase on there has to be teabags as my huge bag of Yorkshire tea has just been emptied into the tea caddy. Next to bog rolls thats one of my regular freebies. ;)

These people that struggle to cut down on having a posh coffee in a coffee shop........Its a once in a while thing for me if I meet up with a friend but that also might have something to do with the fact |I am the one making the darn coffees at work all day and can have one when I want. :D
