Roll on the kids going back to school and getting back to normal!
How much longer is there before they go back in your area? It doesn't seem five minutes since they broke up round here. Must seem a lot longer to parents of school-age children though:eek: I expect their purses and credit cards will be breathing a sigh of relief soon;)0 -

I listed a few more books on Amazon this morning and I received emails that 2 of them sold this afternoon:j
One was a biography of Bruce Forsyth (not the latest one either) and another was about Diana's fashions. That was pretty old too and with the current interest and wall-to-wall media coverage of her I suppose people are snapping up all sorts of out-of-print books. I listed both of these books about 18 months ago and after a few months with no takers decided to cull a lot of non-movers and sell them at car boot and table top sales. They didn't even sell there:rotfl:. I decided to dig them out and list again after recent events and hey presto. Result:j
Won't add until I receive the money from Amazon which I hope is before 31st. It would be nice if the other Diana one would sell too;). I've also got a jigsaw of Charles and Diana's engagement photo. Might get that listed too.
In case you're thinking I'm the type of person who collects celebrity/royalty items I'm so not:rotfl:. I just acquired these somewhere along the way;)0 -

To be honest.....Im not absolutely sure.......I'm guessing its around 4th/5th Sep as one of the youngsters at work is leaving us to do her first year teaching experience at a local school and she starts on 4th for a "getting to know everyone " day.
When my kids were school age, I looked forward to it just as much as it was always a juggle between me and OH to try and manage the long six weeks without too much of any outside help with baby sitting.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... All my articles were approved on Textbroker, requested cashout which should come through on Friday! It was around 24 Euros, I'll add it up properly once I can see what Paypal's conversion rate is."You won't bloom until you're planted" - Graffiti spotted in Newcastle.

Good tips again KM - you seem to work lots of hours though so well deserved :j
You'll get there shariann - clutter takes years to accumulate so you can't expect it to disappear in a trice (I wish)
Gosh Catherine - think I'd be stressed as well (hugs). You sound determined to get it sorted though so hope we're all helping a bit
Some great efforts happening on here - well done :T :T Still just over a week to go folks. Good luck to you all and keep on keeping on :rotfl:

Did my first "What Users Do" test yesterday for £5. Have to wait until 25th Sept for that to come through mind, but it'll be a nice little bonus once it does.
Keep going all. Over 1 week to go, and some high targets already smashed!0 -
Well done on the Textbroker payment, VintageHistorian:T. I used to do Textbroker too several years ago. I really enjoyed it (most of the time;)) and can't understand why I stopped. I'll give that a serious look later in the year. Thanks for the reminder:T
OH read an article in the Daily Mail the other day about decluttering and has asked me to order the book that it was taken from:rotfl:. He'll pay for it, it's just that he has nothing to do with the online world:eek:. With all the stuff he's horded over a whole lifetime I doubt a book will help him get rid of it, plus it would be yet another item to add to the mountain.
Right, off to do some decluttering of my own:(. Back later. Have a good day, everyone:beer:0 -
Thats funny CBC about your OH ordering a book on decluttering. :rotfl: I await in anticipation to see what effect it has and how you cope with all that space you will have!!
£4.90 to add for yesterdays tips........Lynne.....I dont work full time so dont deserve the "you work hard" accolade though it IS appreciated.
I work 29 hours one week and 23 the opposite week. Well thats in theory.........I am continually asked to do more as we always seem to be short staffed/holiday cover. I dont want the extra as I have lots I like to do outside of work but sometimes I feel like I have to say yes to help out.
I have a day off today though.....:T need to get motivated for yoga later this morning. Not feeling it though today :cool:Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600
