Nice to see people doing well.:T:beer:. Pretty unproductive day for me, unfortunately:o. Someone messaged me about one of my BINs and I'm still waiting to see if she ends up buying it.
I've just listed a dozen more books on Amazon. I'd completely forgotten I had these and only looked in that box when trying to locate something else which I still haven't managed to find:mad:. I'm forgetting about it for now, I've had enough and am going round in circles.
I'm going to start off tomorrow full of optimism for the day ahead and hope that a positive state of mind will give me the boost I need;).
Aesop, please don't beat yourself up about not getting as much done as you want to. You manage to pack more useful and productive activity into every day than anyone else I know of:A. Plus, you're giving your son a happy and memorable holiday. Take care of yourself x0 -
well I have been listing like a mad un on ebay...tried to get 100 free ones in over the weekend but only managed 20! did my highest price items as final fees are capped at £1 each... teehee...
i returned a bag for £49.50 that i felt was over priced on reflection
found 5p roadkill
£6 ebay sale
£600 local item sales to help with plumbers fees!
62p nectar points added
£107 from cancelling times wine club automatic deliveries (that was a shock to find they charged me and i didn't even know it!)
I have been busy doing PPI claims so fingers crossed!!!
Lets see how the ebay sales go... i added it up and if it all sells I should have a few hundred pounds ... i always worry that i price thing to high and then keep reducing them... i must stop doing that!
i hope everyone else is doing amazingly. i have struggled to get time to read all the posts and haven't been thanking...sorry...i will get back on track!
my total so far for august is at £1198.88 and I am only £286 away from paying off CC#2... then i will be attacking the hoofer... it is enormous
I have been 'stoozing' (i hope thats the right word!) and now its blooming massive!

Are you sure its stoozing you are doing? I used to do this years ago and the idea is that you have the money you put on the credit card sat in a bank account, earning you some money in interest, but when the interest free period is over you should have the money to pay it off or find another 0% card to transfer to.
Most cards charge a fee to balance transfer (they never used to) and this often wipes out much of any profit.
If I am misreading what you are doing.......then just ignore me.

I have another 20p from citizenme and 49p from qmee so now £172.54. I also won a serving dish on bigDL which sells on Amazon for £8.99 - I don't think I am going to add this though, as I probably wouldn't have bought it, although I did need one and it is very nice.
I have also made some more matched betting but I'm not going to add it until I have paid off the annual fee.
I had such grand plans to declutter over the summer and have done precisely nothing! Only a couple more weeks off work so need to get my A into G if I'm going to achieve anything before the new school year starts and I'm back at work full time.

I 'mini-stooze'. I use my cc for everything as I get cash-back, grab all the offers and use it abroad free. I have the money in another account earning interest and pay the cc the last day it's due every month. I know it's not much but it all adds up over the yearsKantankrus_Mare wrote: »Are you sure its stoozing you are doing? I kept putting it off again and again, as it seemed such a daunting task.. Then I read something and took a different attack. I picked one cupboard, one drawer at a time, and spent 30 mins - set an alarm - each day until it was done. That spurred me on and now I'm nearly there. I think if you can break it down into small sections it doesn't seem so frightening.......

No you're right. I am just moving debts to 0% interest deals... They are generally a year but will take me longer to attack... Just stops the interest for a while... But yes they have high fees! I reckon I have paid over £500 just In fees! It's not stoozing then... Just me trying to hide dumb debts for a while longer whilst I attack them!

Good Morning, all:coffee:. I hope we're all set for a profitable day.
My potential eBay buyer bit the bullet and actually did buy and has already paid:j. I'm really pleased I listed that item (I only did it because of the final fees offer) as I thought it more appropriate for nearer Christmas and was going to wait;). That's £32.60 to add:j
I can't come anywhere nearer matching other people's eclectic mix of income streams, I tend to concentrate on just a few tried and tested methods. No apps or anything phone-related for me. Congratulations to one and all who take the time and trouble to do all that every day. I know it all adds up but, to be honest, I can't be bothered. Life's too short and all that but I admire everyone who does all these things:A. Good Luck:beer:
shariann, congratulations on your win:T. I know what you mean about the best laid plans, especially in the decluttering department:o. Don't beat yourself up about it though, you needed the long holiday to relax and recover ready for the year ahead.
CatherineMM, congratulations on making so much:T. Brilliant total so far and we've still got over a week to go. You put us to shame though:o. Not intentionally, of course.0 -

Good morning
Thanks...but Believe me the shame is all mine... debt built up so bad that I have no choice! Ideally I need to find £17k in the next few months... I'm out of work from ill health and trying hard. Each £1 goes straight to the cards... fingers crossed we can all achieve our aims, however big or small. I have to push on and try my best. Making me more ill knowing the amount I owe... I lay awake at night feeling sick about it 😢 Still have a house full of junk to sell and hope it will help get me there.
