I've managed to talk him out of buying it;). It looked to me that it contains a lot of analysis of different personality types and why people hoard things. To be honest, at this stage of our lives, it's less important to know why. What he needs to get into his head is that it HAS to go. End of:rotfl:
Speaking of things having to go, decisions about some of my own stuff have been made for me by mice:eek:. I brought a box of things out of the shed and discovered a sweet little nest of shredded paper and suchlike in among some sewing materials I was hoping to sell. Mouse droppings galore among the threads:eek:. I've just dumped the whole boxful in the bin. Even if some of the stuff is salvageable and clean-looking I wouldn't want to sell it to anyone as I'd hate to think anyone was selling mousy stuff to me. I've never had mice in that shed before and it's totally weatherproof. No visible holes anywhere although I saw a TV prog once where it showed mice squeezing through the tiniest spaces. I can't work out where it/they got in. I'll have to make sure everything is in lidded boxes from now on. I put the cat in there and he had a good sniff round but soon came out again so I expect the mice are long gone.0 -

I had some home made Christmas puds munched by mice in my garage a few years back. I had made them in October for several years and always kept them in the garage till Christmas with no problem but that year they got nibbled. Haven't made any since! Just coincidence really as I have moved house since then and don't have any outside storage at new place.£10 a day April - £4/£3002014 £110.92 2015 £3732.30 2016 £1633.66 2017 £2991.70 2018 £3255.40

Hello everyone.
Not much to report on the money making front.
Plenty on the money saving
I have one bid of £10 (my starting price) on eBay for a sale that ends a week today.
I haven't done a mystery shop for what seems like ages.
I went a bit mad on them for a bit and now have £94 owed on Friday.
I'm going to be a bit more picky. Did a horrible pub on Saturday.
I have up to £16 possible in cashback from topcashback, that could be months.
I have so much still to list on eBay and Facebook.
Sold an office chair for £20 which is half what I was asking for it but the person who's buying it is setting up home and on a tight budget. I never bought it so thought that was fair enough. She says she will pick up on Monday.
So all in all if things fall into place I could have another £140 before the month is over.
I went on my modelling day to London. It was thoroughly enjoyable and cost me just the price of an apartment I shared for the night with 2 friends which was £30 plus some drinks, (only a couple as I took some champagne I won - hahaha - I don't usually win champagne! ) £20 towards an evening meal and the price of a reduced theatre ticket. My train fare there and back would have been £76 but this was covered by the magazine we were modelling for, they also paid for taxis and provided lunch and snacks all day. They will also give me the pictures. I was truly pampered and put into all sorts of outfits. It was just lovely.
This weekend I was considering booking to go away but instead I'm going to stay with my brother and his wife, they live in a beautiful part of the country. I got a deal on a spa day and am treating my sister in law for letting me stay.
So that's me! I've decided Monday is a good day to do something different - after tasting all sorts of weird Chinese dishes last week and a modelling shoot () this week - good freebies!
Take care all thanks as ever for the inspiration- have signed up for Prolific Academic so fingers crossed for interesting ones!
If anyone would like to know more about taking part in a modelling shoot, please just let me know 0 -
