No plans to start afresh at the moment. Have some great titles for when we do move though depending on the level of new debt we end up with.
1. frittering. Plants and bits for the garden. No jumpers though. Mostly investing time into getting the garden 'dressed' for next spring but making it pretty for my study window view.
2. savings. The state pension info changes every time I look at it. Now seems to have fixed the child benefit years with extra credit so nothing I can pay. Don't want to commit extra to my work one when we may want to over stretch to bridge our next house while selling this one.3. Premium bonds. £75 in 9 months on 5k is a good return but the savings rates are creeping up again. Need to think about moving his skipped on account, was good rate but doesn't seem to have increased. Mark Us on the other hand seem to email me with rate increased every week. Nice problem to have
4. life admin, expensive documents in for renewal. Meh! No plans to travel but proving ID otherwise can be challenging.5. Bank branches. DS1 finally cashed in his CTF, we had struggled to find ID and a branch that was open when he was awake. They couldn't transfer it, it had to be a cheque. His current account won't accept a cheque over 500 by App, aren't open in the weekend and can only deposit at post office if you have a paying in book (he doesn't). Occurred to me that his other child savings account was with Hfx, and I am trustee, and they will accept 1k, so we have tried that tonight. Wait and see if they say No, come into branch, only we can't because you have closed it. What about RHS or National Truss membership for your tesco tokens?2

RHS magazine has just arrived here... definitely a good use of tokens!3

@alchemilla, thanks but I thought about RHS for the magazines but my sister gives me hers and I flick through them and mutter. No interesting RHS or NT places to visit round these parts without a big drive. When we move we will sign up and indulge in lovely places. Same with English heritage places. I prefer gardens to houses - Dorothy Clive in Shropshire, Barnsdale in Rutland, and the Welsh place that starts with a B that my sister dragged me too, good rose gardens. Near Conwy maybe? Bodnant perhaps? Dorothy Clive gardens in May are the best though, former quarry I think and just lovely planting. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Turtle doves have half price on everything and free postage for anyone who 'needs' recycled cashmere. I have ordered yet more fingerless gloves (£13 light weights) because I mostly live in them, and it is payday, hurrah. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I’ve been wearing mine loads recently. No idea why I need them in ‘summer’3

Do the gloves last? The fingerless gloves I wear at work when it’s cold got really ratty. I have really cold fingers and toes now I’m older 🙄Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
