I've no idea what's going on with this company. I had issues at the end of last year where the bills bore no resemblance to reality, as some were starting with meter readings different to the end reading from the bill before and eventually got that sorted. I am still being charged the unit rate of the fixed smart tariff I was on, even though that ended last September, no idea why, although it is better than the one I was expecting to be moved on to. Anybody else in this situation? If they leave it at that rate, then I'm happy to stay but would hate to get a huge bill if/when they realise it's wrong!! Or is that likely to be beyond their abilities?0

My "complaint" is about a week old now, when i rang to chase it they said "they didn't know" when it would be answered as the complaints team are backed up. (no surprise there!!) How long did it take for the complaints team to get back to you to sort your account charges out?
Well my complaint was in before Christmas and not responded till fairly recently.
To be fair though they are now responding quicker and had I thought resolved all my issues so far.
However they haven't removed my block on my gas supply so my gas is still stuck with them and BG who I am going with have tried 3 times and it now says cancelled.
So emailed them again to see what is happening. Spoke to BG who say its not completely cancelled yet so hopefully it will go through but who knows....
I don't want to miss out on the tarrif as a result ....0 -
I’ve been with Eversmart since May2018, never had a reading since beginning, their website app is a joke, just fails to show much at all, no overview, no bills , no statements. Phones unanswered. Emails were replied to by text message eventually, saying they have problems and delays? Seems an unfit company to be trading. Changed to a different supplier very recently, cannot wait to see my final billing and readings.0

If your using app on android or ios.......they are meant for payg customers
The normal website on windows has all the information you need0 -

Only if the normal website works correctly for you.
The problem is you are stuck somewhere in the billing system then you don't get bills on either system.
Sorry but it doesn't work properly for everybody.0 -
Hey guys,
Just a question for any of you who have switched away from Eversmart. My switch has just completed today.
How were they in regards to final meter reading and giving you back any credit balance on your account. Was it smooth and quick, did you have to chase?0 -

With me I am proactive. I phone them once a month and they generate a bill straight away. Their online facilities are basic but when I am only paying 11.75p kw for electricity I am not complaining.
As they say in life it is what it is and thats cheap and cheerful.0 -

Couldn't agree more - take control yourself rather than just hoping that it will get better. I never managed to get IRESA to improve their billing but as I kept all my own records and a close eye on my costs & payments it was quite easy to sort out my bills when they went bust.
Mines 11.455p/kwh with Eversmart unit next August and for that I'll put up with a bit of aggro.
I certainly wouldn't voluntarily swap suppliers at this time of the year when my energy consumption is at it's maximum unless I could get a lower tariff and I've not found anything thats anywhere close at the momentNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
Here's the update on my story. Having asked how I could have a bill in excess of £284 outstanding when I have had a smart meter the whole time, I am now told that my outstanding (and final as I won't be staying there) bill is £480!!!
Now I don't expect not to pay for what I use, but had I been told that my bill was going to be £105 a month with this company when I first switched, I would have switched elsewhere. And had I known that they would encourage me to get a smart meter that they would then totally ignore for 12 months and then wouldn't be any use to me when I switched, then I wouldn't have bothered with that either. Absolute joke of a company.0
