Oh fab, thanks, that must be what she's talking about. I'm assuming I just agree it (if it's correct) and off we go. I'll transfer the money I need to and all good. Sound right?Becksina said:
We got a breakdown of both sale and purchase from solicitor prior to when we were due to exchange3or4magpies said:Does your solicitor send you a financial breakdown of payments expected prior to exchange? Ours is saying she'll do that as soon as the redemption statement comes through to her, plus confirmation of mortgage funds release. I did check with her we don't have to put any further deposit down on exchange (all funds tied up in the sale)0 -

we were lucky cause the solicitor will actually owe us £4 haha! But anything you owe you a just pay and you’re ready to go! No updates for us today, not even a response. Fed up but here’s to another day!1 -
Well this didn’t last. Apparently three new enquiries raised by our buyer’s solicitor this morning.jonners666 said:Final enquiry answers sent back to our buyers solicitors yesterday.
Hoping now to exchange this week and complete on the 30th!
It’s getting ridiculous now - they’ve dragged it out for weeks!0 -
We’ve exchanged 🙌🏻🙌🏻🥳🥳 with completion on Friday! So excited!! Hope there’s good news and updates for the rest of you this week 🥰6

So we completed on Monday! Funds were all in place Friday afternoon so completed on our sale at 11:30 and our purchase at 12:15! So happy, the house is gorgeous.Paid a guy with a Luton van £250 to move us - he brought his mate with another van and they were packed in 90 mins, and unpacked in another hour - they even happily waited two hours for our solicitors to call. They were absolute machines and so helpful - highly recommend anyone struggling to find removals to do similar if you you can. This was from a 3 bed to a 4 bed too.2

Thanks for the tip on removals too. If everything slips for us we might need to do this0 -

I've got my fingers crossed for us all for forward progress today. Hoping for exchange today. I'm on leave this week (randomly booked leave as I'll loose it otherwise), with my birthday on Saturday. The only gift I want is exchange with completion next week. I haven't even booked next week of work yet as I don't know for sure if it's all going to happen. The 'in limbo' feeling is the worst.0 -
we are due to complete our sale tomorrow but i havent heard a peep from EA or conveyancer since exchange. i will call one of them later today if they dont contact me first, but other than empty the house , clean it and start getting the jitters, what else should i be doing? keys are labelled, folder of manuals and instruction sheets, guarantees etc ready, info on bin days etc all listed, champagne, chocolates, card and flutes left for incoming couple. bins emptied and washed.
i feel sure im missing something major.1 -
Really hope they're quick things to sort jonners666. I found out what my buyers last query was, chased and found the answer from the council myself and sent it to them via my solicitor. Within about 3 hours from then we were talking exchange and completion dates. I wonder if you can find out what they are and sort it yourself (or at least one/two of them). If I'd waited for my solicitor we'd still be waiting for an answer to it.jonners666 said:
