Finally all done myself...after weeks of delays and constantly changing exchange and completion dates I finally put my foot down last Thursday and said if we didn't exchange the next day I'd pull out.
To my own surprise it worked!!! Exchanged last Friday, completed today and about to pick up the keys now!!

Still no exchange for us even though the solicitor assured us we will be completing next week. Apparently Help to Buy haven’t issued the authority to complete yet so we can’t sell ours until they have it, looking at their timescales they want 15 working days to do this so I hope the solicitor has already sent the required forms to them.God why does everything take so long0

I don't understand this logic. Why start the whole stressful process all over again when you're so close to the end?
