Any update Chimpy?
Nothing here. Sat in a lecture waiting for hubby to respond to text as to whether he's chased or heard anything. Could email but don't wanna duplicate0 -

Boo! Fx for you.
Solicitor has emailed to say she’s had to raise a couple more queries on the back of the responses but has invited us in to go through everything & sign next Tuesday in prep for exchange of contracts and completion.
I’m going to email the EA and ask them to ensure the responses are dealt with quickly. I feel like I can see the light at the end of a very long tunnel.0 -
So received all our paperwork to go ahead!
THEN I get a letter saying I have to go for a boob assesssment following my Mamogram.
Should be exchanging on Friday I could actually cry.0 -

Our solicitor has finally received the draft contracts etc from the vendors solicitor, 7 weeks after our offer was accepted. Our searches are finally now ordered and paid for and we’ve done everything possible at our end. All proof of funds, money laundering checks done, mortgage offer received by solicitor and mortgage deed signed and returned etc etc etc.
We’re anxious to see the title report and get eyes on the lease. Can anyone who’s buying leasehold share how long it was after their solicitor received the draft contract etc before they received the title report?
So frustrated at this point, 7 weeks in and it feels like we’re only now getting started!0 -
