Less than two weeks now for our completion, I'm so nervous about packing up the house. We don't even technically need to leave our current home until the 24th March (rented) but all our plans revolve around me being at the new house decorating and my partner being at our current house (it's over 2hrs away and we only own one car). So I'm starting to feel like I need everything sorted by the day we actually get the keys as the plan is I won't come home again except to pick him up on our final day of the tenancy!0

I only ask as I was expecting us to exchange today but he said he needs the lender to confirm they can make the date agreed - one hurdle after another! 🤪1 -

This time last week I had just sent an email to the sales progressor saying we were getting really frustrated with the waiting and nothing happening that we were going to start looking at the market again.
Friday we heard that everything was in place that we might be able to exchange, but no discussion of dates.
Yesterday an out of the blue email with a suggested date. Didn't quite make it due to some discussion in the rest of the chain.
Then exchanged today!
Haven't been on since our move as we still don't have an internet connection, but just learned how to tether phone to PC and came here for a peek at others progress. Glad you've finally exchanged.0 -
