I just want to order furniture but imagine - I’d be sat here in my rental filled with sofas and beds 🤣1 -

I think the exact numbers are still being crunched as I had another query about something yesterday.

Bank have released the mortgage money, so everything is in place.
Super excited, but slightly anxious until exchange has taken place.0 -
Finally did it, told our sales progressor that if we don't get some real progress or real dates in the timeline we'll be looking elsewhere. After 7 months with barely any progress over the past 2 months I'm just so frustrated.
Every time I enquire it's just "a small issue", "some small issues that need to be fixed but should only take 2 days". I've heard that for the entire of January and I've got no assurances that we're getting anywhere so I need to put the pressure on.
We reaaalllly don't want to pull out but I told them we're "keeping an eye on the market" which is completely true. We need to see some solid assurance that something is going to happen or we may be tempted elsewhere.
I've given them a date of 3 weeks from now, which is when we need to serve notice on our property to not be liable for rent until the end of April. If we don't exchange in 3 weeks I guess we'll keep trying with this property but I won't feel bad about booking some viewings elsewhere.0 -
Finally exchanged contracts today! Been trying for a couple of weeks - so relieved it's finally done.
Roll on completion in 2 weeks.2
