So after a couple of weeks of frustration and silence, we've had an email from our solicitor with the final replies and to arrange coming in for ID checks and signing contracts AND from the EA saying the foam has been removed, the roof will be re-felted tomorrow and the seller's have invited us over this evening to have a look before the work is complete.

So glad that we're finally getting things resolved and we may be coming to the end of this terrible process!
Yay so glad your moving forward fingers crossed it goes smoothly for u

Just been told that 2 of sellers solicitor who’s dealing with ours have gone on annual leave, my solicitor have asked for an urgent call back, so peed off it’s unbelievable
Oh no @Cookie211- it must be the day for bad news as my solicitor has just come back to say they have got no response in over a week from either buyers or vendors solicitors. I honestly feel like giving up so I can completely relate to how you are feeling 😢 x
Oh no, what will happen now, I really hope you have some good news coming your way x

I wish they would pass it over to another solicitor but they tend to give it to there assistants and you get radio silence.

Thank u, to be honest the EA have been the one chasing from probate and now completing, if it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t have a clue what’s going on, let’s hope my solicitor rings them and gets it sorted now, don’t want to get excited as it may not even happen but they got the paperwork 🤞🤞🤞

This is why we went with who the EA recommended and not an online one.

I've still had radio silence tho but less than my friend who went for the cheaper online option shes chasing 3 times a day and getting told nothing at all, They haven't even responded to the emails that they have sent.
