Just had an email from mortgage company saying congratulations your mortgage is complete 🤔🤔🤔 anyone know what this means is we didn’t complete today 😢
It may mean they have sent the funds to your solicitor? Could potentially happen if the completion date was delayed for any reason and the lender isn’t aware?
As the poster above said I think it’s just an automatic email that comes out. So sorry it didn’t happen today but let’s hope Tuesday brings you good news 🤞x

hope you have a nice bank holiday, I’m going to try and forget about the house this weekend, going for a family meal today then out for a few drinks with the girls tomorrow, suffer with a hangover Monday then back to being stressed Tuesday 🤔 that sounds just about right 😂

Been following everyone’s updates - glad to read the progress and hoping the delays for others get sorted soon.

I asked my solicitor if there is an idea of exchange date yet (we have had all searches back and survey and got the permissions and certificates etc) but still waiting to answers to some further enquiries, although not sure what those are!

The EA is trying to chase those answers so hopefully it won’t be too long. It seems like their onward purchase is going well. I can’t think what further enquiries could hold up exchange so hoping it doesn’t become an issue since we are happy with everything else.

Enjoy the bank holiday and looking forward to a week of progress for everyone next week!

Have you posted on the LR thread? It's usually not them that are holding things up.
