Hi all. I've not posted much but I've been watching all your stories and always come to see how you're all doing.
My sol emailed yesterday evening and asked if I have a completion date in mind....ive asked for end of Sept as I will need to give notice on my rental (cant really afford more than a week overlap!) Anyway as I've emailed back I got a bounce back email saying shes not on leave till 1st Sept 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ her other colleague has told vendor's solicitor that I'd like to complete then. Awaiting a reply. They have already moved out so I can't see why it would be an issue but they might want to complete sooner?? I'm worrying like I have at every single stage!! She also told me to bare in mind how long it takes to withdraw from my lisa but I spoke to moneybox and they said it only takes 3 working days after sol has filled form in so not sure. I've emailed EA and asked her to ask vendor's if they're happy too but she's not yet got back to me. Should i start packing?! I feel so in limbo and and don't want to jinx myself 😭😭😭 good luck to everyone else! Hope you all get SOME news today.....which is all we ask for really isn't it 🙈🙈🙈0 -

definitely ask you solicitor to sort the forms for your LISA early as a few people have had issues so better to be safe than worrying at the last minute.
ive started packing but only those things I don’t need in the immediate future as it gave me something to do which I could control whilst dealing with the stress of moving house 🤯 I also had a huge clear out before that so I didn’t take things with me that we didn’t need….I honestly didn’t realise how much stuff we had that we didn’t need 😬
good luck for September completion, I think there is a few of us hoping to complete then 🤞🙏🤞x0 -

Yeah ive started decluttering too! Did 7 tip runs the other day!! I need to sort my children's toys but I'm such a hoarder when it comes to them I'm going to find it hard but I'm starting again in regards to furniture etc so not going to actually have much to move other than belongings but lots of tip/charity shop runs! I might start doing what you've done and only have immediate things out. Takes some stress away.
Yes you too!! 🤞🤞🤞 fingers and toes crossed1 -
Received the bill from my solicitor today ready for completion on the 10th. Not sure whether to ask them when they expect the exchange date to be?? Their letter said the bill could change also due to outstanding charges as there is a maintenance fee with the property which I believe the owner has paid upto November this year.0
