Was slightly freaked out by the letter from the solicitor in which she asked for proof of funds- she is dealing with my house sale as well, so should know that most of the funds is coming from that - guess its just a cut and paste standard clause. Already provided loads of bank/ savings statements showing proof of deposit - but spent ages printing out more just in case!1 -
Just had an email from mortgage company saying congratulations your mortgage is complete 🤔🤔🤔 anyone know what this means is we didn’t complete today 😢0

It may mean they have sent the funds to your solicitor? They only submitted the land registry application on 30th July and it was expedited on 13th August.
Requisition was sent to vendor on 17th August.0 -

23rd June - Offer Finally Accepted On A House!
23rd June - Full application submitted through broker
19th July - Mortgage offer received
23rd July - Draft contract received
26th July - Searches requested
2nd August - Survey completed0 -
Managed to get to completion today (exchanged yesterday) and overall not as bad as it could have been. Good luck to all who are going through the process. Now to fully unpack and enjoy September.
