We have a similar situation, but I have decided that it will be far less stressful for me (and the poor cat) to book her into a cattery for 2-3 days while we move. Not ideal, as she is still quite young and hasn't been away from us at all because we only got her in November, but she will be going to the cattery my old cat used to go to when we were able to travel. My baby is a house cat, and I work at home full time, so she only gets left on her own occasionally. I know I would be a nervous wreck trying to keep her calm, just cant book anything without dates, and I am hoping they have space when we finally have one! 
 

Our cats are going into the cattery for two nights when we move. I think it's kinder, they are concerned enough with all of the boxes and furniture moving around as we've begin packing.

Our cat is going into a cattery too - we’ve had a job trying to find one with space and it’s half hours drive!! 

We’ve had it confirmed thag Thursday next week has been agreed for completion. Exchange will likely happen on the day!

Amazing news! So glad you've finally gotten there

We're only moving 20 mins down the road from our 2 bed flat, so we should be able to get everything sorted in one day with minimal cat trauma. Problem with catteries is he also absolutely hates the car, so any car journeys would be equally stressful for him

So our hiccup with the lender not confirming they are happy with the occupier has been resolved - they have re issued the mortgage offer and deed to include it. 

However, as a result, the request for funds was cancelled, so now solicitor has submitted an emergency request for them to be released tomorrow. 

Nothing is straightforward is it?! 
Wondering what the liklihood of the lender releasing tomorrow is....

Buying a repo, needs a full gas check, plumbing check and elec check and new certs issuing.

Needs main fuse reinstating, water turning on from mains and same with water. 

All new double glazing and a new kitchen 

Artex ceilings need skimming over etc 

I need to get in and start  !!!

We got word that solicitors have received the money from the lender!
Roll on 9am!!! Exchange and completion planned together.
