Is it crazy to chase your solicitor 24hrs later after they said they would get a completion date. I’m worried I’m being to pushy but I don’t trust he’s even asked yet 🤦🏼‍♀️
Nothing wrong with that. You are paying them after all!

Haha thanks! I know I just hate being pushy but he said it was too early for a date about 2-3 weeks ago. Nothings changed since then and now we’re ready just need a date hence why I want to keep him on his toes and chase like mad until I know.

Just over 2 weeks ago now my conveyancer told my purchase estate agent that searches had been returned and the case was awaiting allocation and then enquiries would be raised. They still haven't informed either of us that the case has been allocated so I'm guessing nothing has been actioned since then. I've tried getting in touch by phone, email, etc but they manage to be very elusive.

Potentially 2 weeks of total inactivity  :'(  I have already experience a whole wasted month in May where they did absolutely no work because they were 'waiting to receive paperwork' from me despite me emailing at least once a week asking to confirm if they'd received it.

Getting tired of the uncertainty of moving and just want it done.

Does anybody else just feel at this point that they are stuck in the eternal fires of hell?
Yes! It often feels like we aren't actually moving and I've imagined the house - the reality of it happening seems so far away sometimes.

Argh so frustrated! The estate agent contacted me today and he said everything was complete and when would I like to exchange. As soon as possible, please! Was assured that it should be possible by the end of this week. And now complete silence....My solicitor hasn't heard anything from the other side. Why is everyone so incompetent!?

And by exchange I mean complete.
Feel like this isn't going to happen this week :(

Exactly the same with me currently! I’ve emailed today because I want to know by Friday! Chasing multiple people isn’t easy.
    Goodluck!

    You too @baileykxo
I am just so fed up with all this. Starting a new job soon and could really do with being set up in the new place.
