Our solicitor sent them an email Thursday am saying they needed to reply as a matter of urgency and still nothing! Also does anyone else hate how everything is done by email??

Your vendors solicitor is not replying to mine (ours) and we would like to understand by 4pm today why there is no response. Many thanksThen call then at 16:15hrs if no reply, and if there is no further update request to be put through to branch manager of the estate agency0 -

I visited my friends this weekend and really liked their sofa. It’s currently very cheap at SCS. One of those offer ends tomorrow deals. I haven’t exchanged yet so I don’t want to commit but can I safely assume it will likely be on sale again when I have exchanged?
If you have the space, why not buy it 😊 we bought where we found bargains and it actually helped a lot starting earlier as its less panicking now we have exchanged!
In fact, most of the larger furniture retailers are the same. I started looking for dining room furniture back in January when our (replacement) house purchase looked to be near completion. Most of the national chains were advertising sales which 'must end soon' or 'last few days', but so were some more upmarket local ones. I ended up ordering in April (its finally arriving on Thursday!), when prices were exactly the same.
Guess what, prices are still the same this week, even the extra £50 off per £500 spent (Furniture Village).0 -
Joining just to have a moan!!!
Our chain is FTB - Us -Vendor going into chain free house paying cash from sale.
Neither end of chain seems fussed, it's always us pushing for updates!!!
And solicitors either end are rubbish, especially vendor's, luckily ours have been amazing.
Just want some action/motivation from our vendor. We messaged them asking how their purchase was going and they just responded that it was all going well. I want to know specifics lol 🤨🙄
Phew!!! And breathe!2
