It shows Bristol City Council as 19 working days though! Which is practically a month...0 -

@uralmaid - you've hit the nail on the head there. And every day just drags.birdmadgirl8 said:hippocrates1 said:Nothing has happened for six weeks. Is anyone else getting paranoid someone in the chain might pull out?
Its only me and the seller (empty house). But I’m now getting paranoid as things drag on they may pull out and I’ll be back to square one. This house stuff messes with your head!No updates today from my solicitors, must’ve checked my emails every 10 minutes5 -

@amandacat Let's hope it is just paranoia! If we're worrying like this, then maybe everyone else in our chains is too. All will be well, or all will be as it is meant to be. (Daughter just said this to cheer me up, so passing on her wisdom🌼☺️🌼.)1

I kept telling myself when someone DID pull out 'everything will be OK in the end. If it's not OK then it's not the end'
Still repeat this to myself some days in this process lol!
Also helps to remind yourself you're doing all you can... So if the worst happens there's nothing you could have done. But try to keep positive!4 -
Thanks @Caz_Mnaz - needed to hear that after another sleepless night 😭0

The one thing that’s helping me a bit is the fact that, if they do pull out, that would happen whether I worried about it or not. So I can either waste my time worrying before anything has actually happened and make myself ill, or I can be realistic with myself, be aware of the “risk” and just let things run their course.3 -

Morning all, hope Tuesday is proving a better day for you than for me. Just had an email from my solicitor to say there has still been no progress. I just don't understand how a piece of paper can be so hard to get hold of. It's an absolute joke. If I were allowed the details and could chase it myself, it would be sorted today - I'd drive cross-country and refuse to move from someone's office until it's sorted. I'm so scared we are either going to lose one of our two buyers, or our vendors will decide they no longer want to move in with family and pull out. Not to mention the stress that living and working so cramped like this and not being able to see my boys properly/as much is causing. Just ended up crying about it all on my work team call, so that was fun.2
