Natbag said:Ah that's so frustrating. Similar here, waiting on one outstanding enquiry on my ex's purchase. Not sure if it's the vendor's solicitor that isn't responding or an estate management company that needs to provide the information, both maybe, I just know this has taken an unreasonable amount of time already.1

So our buyers solicitors have had the draft contract pack for 8 working days now....
And not raised any enquiries.
Are there always enquiries to raise in a property sale? Or is it more likely they are being slow.......
Is it an acceptable time frame for me to ask the EA to chase our buyer on this?0 -

Ah ok, that's one possibility, thanks ChocolateBunny. Since our chain is trying to complete before the end of June it would be helpful to get as much done concurrently as possible so I think I will email our EA in the morning and ask him to chivvy. I have no idea how long searches are taking to come back in Bristol atm, is this something I could find out by ringing the council?0

It shows Bristol City Council as 19 working days though! Which is practically a month...1 -
Natbag said:@hippocrates1 - I feel the same, just so deflated now. Just can't help fearing the worst. Hope we both get some good news soon.
@uralmaid - you've hit the nail on the head there. And every day just drags.birdmadgirl8 said:hippocrates1 said:Nothing has happened for six weeks. Can’t be bothered anymore.Natbag said:@birdmadgirl8 & @hippocrates1 - you've probably said but my memory is terrible, apologies, but what is it you're stuck waiting for?The vendor did not register the parking space as being owned by the property so they had to go back the developer and ask for it. Now it’s waiting to be approved by the land registry 😞DIP 09/02/21
