Anybody else finding it hard to sleep? I am a terrible sleeper anyway but the stress of the buying and selling process is making it so much worse 😢1

Yep I'm struggling it's like I can't switch off, it's the waiting for a date and some clarity so I can get removals, Internet and all the rest of it in motion! Excitement faded to nothing lol1

This!! Found out yesterday that everything is ready to go on sale and purchase. I just need to sign the Transfer deed and FTB needs to sign their mortgage letter.
Our purchase is ready too.
I should be excited but I just feel stressed! We need to decide a completion date between 3 parties and I would really like to move in the May half term as I will be off work but I can't expect everyone to wait 6 weeks for me!0 -
We have 7 parties.... Pray for us 😂🙏 I'm not fussy, would rather avoid any school holiday but also want to go ASAP....!0

Yep!! Lack of sleep is ruining us here. We're hoping to have a resolution in some form to our one outstanding issue. Then we can talk exchange 🙏0

We are in a chain of three houses all are ready except property 6 they are waiting for the enquiries to be reviewed by the the solicitor since last Friday. I am hoping that they are doing that this week and that we might get an update tomorrow fingers crossed we had an update yesterday still the same as last Friday. We sold originally at the beginning of November end of October first buyer pulled out on the 23rd of December nearly lost the house we are buying got new buyer first week of Jan we then all good we then got the complication date of the 26th of March then we're told about 3 other properties in the chain. Every time a property comes on the market in our local area that looks good value I think our buyer is going to pull out and buy that instead so have had a few sleepless nights. I hope everybody gets some good news, movement before the weekend x0

Good morning all, our purchase seems to be coming to an end but the end is taking so long just as the rest of it. We have sent a substantial amount to our solicitor's bank so they can do the exchange but Barclays have flagged the payment as out of the ordinary and telling us to wait until tomorrow if all is ok of course. Does anybody know if we could phone them to make it a bit faster? The wait is killing us!1

@ZSC - welcome. And wow, your searches were back fast!
@amyr - that's so frustrating. Are they not able to exchange and complete while abroad? People do sell properties without stepping foot in the country, it just takes longer.
@Wren14 - yes, the wait is really getting to me. Combined with working from home, not having enough space and lockdown, there just isn't much else to focus on and it's affecting me too. Sounds like you have some positive progress there though!
@Sam2030 - same here, 1 outstanding enquiry still on property 6 (of a double chain of 3). Been ready to go for 3 weeks with no progress, so really hoping for some good news tomorrow.
@hopeitwill that's so annoying, there just seems to be delays at every possible turn doesn't there? Hope it gets sorted. Try calling them and letting them know it's legit? Can't hurt.

Final lot of searches are back, few points to clarify but agent at bottom of chain confident we'll be talking dates next week.
Dare I dream..... 😂0
