They have asked it to be expedited and have been informed today that it wont be until 18th October.
My mortgage offer will of run out over a month before then, more stamp duty will be due and I wont be able to proceed with the sale as my funds set aside will be depleted ( I have already lost one house after waiting nine months for vendors to secure onward purchase and thought this one would be easier as no chain)
Is this really the earliest it can be processed?
Do you know the title number involved? We ask solicitors to request expedition through a dedicated channel and to submit documentary evidence of the confirmed purchase. They haven’t done that and have simply included a letter of request with their submission. That won’t be seen until the application is considered.I’ll flag it with colleagues and ask them to expedite it so that should mean it’s looked at in the next 2 weeks, often sooner. Everything then hinges on it being in order of course0 -
Hello Land Registry
I am part of a chain which is waiting for a lease extension to be registered before it can progress and complete - this is the only thing holding it up! We were told on 15 July that expedition had been requested. Should it have been completed by now? The reference I have been given is C304CXR - can you shine any light please? We have been ready to go for months0 -

Hi, we are currently going through the legal process of buying a barn which has planning permission on already. The barn is part of a larger plot and upon sale to us the deeds will need to be split so we can purchase just the barn and surrounding area. How long is this process likely to take in terms of getting it split at the land registry from when everything is submitted? The planning lapses on Aug 22 and we have seen some wait times of months which is making us a little nervous as we need to start organising the build
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thank you0 -

Hi,
My brother and I are in the process of selling a flat belonging to our late father. The lease had to be extended and the flat registered to my brother and I. Solicitor informed me on 15th April that everything had been received by land registry. I have been trying to find out how long this will take to be registered but am not getting much info back from solicitor. I have been told it was expedited. If you're able to provide any idea of timescale it would be much appreciated.
Title number is GM233718

Hi there,
You very kindly commented on another post I made some weeks ago now. Things are still progressing fairly slowly and I am still very concerned about when we're going to be able to finally complete this whole process, it's very difficult for me to move during the month of September as I start work again and need to focus on settling new vulnerable students.
The current situation is that the buyer have now sacked their conveyancer and appointed another firm of solicitors. They have signed the deed of covenant and as far as I am aware, my solicitor has made an expedited application for the restriction to be disapplied.
I wonder if you would be able to let me know the status of this application? The title number is LL223042.
Thank you in advance.0 -
