Hi
I hope you can help me.
I lived a property for over 30 years (late 80's till 2019) Initially I rented it, in the early 90's I privately purchased it jointly, in the early 2000's I bought it alone. For tax reasons I need the exact dates of purchases and have no paperwork prior to 2002.
Can I get the change of ownership dates? Which forms would I need?
I do have the Title no.
Many thanks in advance.0 -

Many thanks in advance. If it’s simply change of ownership dates then it’s the Transfers you’ll need I suspect but just ask and we will reply and confirm how to then get copies. There’s no online service to get the information“Official Company Representative

I’m in the process of purchasing a piece of land which was mistakenly not transferred to the current owners when they purchased it. The widow of the previous owner who holds probate has signed the relevant paperwork to support the transfer and an application has been made, reference no. T143MNR, are you able to provide me with its current status?
Thank you
Can you check that you’ve received the outstanding paperwork please? It should have been posted last Thursday.Thanks0 -
I’m buying a property that’s has both a freehold title deed and a leasehold title deed. My solicitor has got in touch to say the leasehold title deed is missing on land registry so they are unable to stipulate what convenants are in place for the property and have advised to take out an indemnity insurance. I have asked my solicitor 2 questions that they keep skirting around and won’t give me a straight answer. I basically want to know where I stand with this. Does the freehold title override the leasehold title for things like planning permission to extend in the future or will the missing leasehold title stop me from being able to do anything like this? Thanks I’m advance.

Thanks I’m advance. If you are thinking of applying for planning and are worried as to the rights of someone else to object and whether the tenure strengthens that objection, then again it’s the planning department you need advice from. The indemnity policy appears to be with regards the missing lease. The contents of the lease don’t, as far as I’m aware, impact on the planning process so I’d also suggest you ask the solicitor to explain what the policy is for and what it is limited to“Official Company Representative

Our chain is being held up by an unregistered property, with a boundary issue What's the likely turnaround time for this to be resolved?0

Hi, we are purchasing an unregistered house and the sellers solicitor lodged an application for first registration. The application was recieved on the 2nd of November. I wander if anyone can tell me if it has been expedited (our solicitor asked them to) and how long the process will take to complete?
We are effectively homeless and the whole process has been going on for over a year!
