rachtom84 said:Hi, we are purchasing an unregistered house and the sellers solicitor lodged an application for first registration. The application was recieved on the 2nd of November. I wander if anyone can tell me if it has been expedited (our solicitor asked them to) and how long the process will take to complete?
We are effectively homeless and the whole process has been going on for over a year!

Many thanks.
If it’s not expedited then the wait time will most likely be several months“Official Company Representative

Hi Land Registry!
Have just heard from my solicitor that the Land Registry is missing a page from our Lease on the copy the LR holds, solicitor has said they have provided you with the page and are waiting for you to update your records accordingly before we can move on with our sale and get to exchange.
Just wondering how long this is likely going to take? We have been trying to sell since January with 2 previous failed sales and the currently sale has been going on since July so we are a bit antsy hence posting on here!
Many thanks!0 -

I'm guessing it needs to be approved for it to show up on the application process?0 -

Apologies if I have asked this before.
Am I right in saying that if a property is demolished there is no need to notify Land Registry as this does not affect the deeds?0 -
