Thanks FvD but a miracle has happened and I have found the book! It was in my case from last time I went to London - found it while I was packing as I'm off to London again today.CCL, what was the book, maybe one of us have it?
Slow going today - I stayed in bed really late because I'd had a few drinks last night, and I'm suffering a bit because I don't drink very often.
I definitely get more done when I write a list so when I eventually dragged myself out of bed at 10am and had a cuppa I wrote a list and have done all of it:
Load of washing
Hoovering
Salad for lunch
Printed off all paperwork
Packed my bags for going to London (until Wednesday)
Downloaded some stuff onto iPlayer to watch on the train
Packed some crochet as well
Sorted clean laundry
Changed cat trays and put a bag of rubbish out.
Think I'm just about sorted to head off. Really looking forward to time away but will miss the family while I'm gone...Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Managed to spend very little considering the children have been off, meal planned and took advantage of free activities, a little over £30 left of the weekly budget to go in my virtual sealed pot.0

:T I would have done that too DNMS, and I bet your meal was nicer, no doubt including some of your homegrown vegdetermined_new_ms wrote: »frugal wins
our picnic has been called off due to rain forecast. My db suggested going out for a roast. I counter suggested they come here and I'd do roast. Nipped to SM and got a joint of beef, some horseradish. So would have conseratively cost £40-50 (just for the 3 of us) to go for a roast and instead it has cost £9 for 5 :money:

Today has been a bit of a nightmare on account of road closures due to the London/Surrey bike ride. I had remembered on the way over to my mums to go via the A3 and could see traffic was at a standstill coming back the other way. Coming home I stupidly came the usual way and got turned back and tried a couple of other routes and got turned back again and finally ended up getting onto the A3 via the M25 which was also at a standstill
And I needed the loo
Despite all this I have got stuffs done today:
Cleaned the bathroom while I was waiting for the bath to run and let my hair dry naturally, not a good look (I also have curly hair DNMS but I straighten mine.)
Took my mum back to the furniture shop to change her order and then took back some stuff to PC w0rld for a refund. They would only give her a gift card which she gave to me to buy a new kettle.
We also went to B+Q as I needed a new bin and I also got a storage box for my car which I'm currently trying to kit out as a cut price camper van. it has a nice secure lid and I'm going to keep snacks, a flask and tea making stuffs inside it and use the top as a table.
We had lunch at a H@rvester but went back to my mum's for pudding.
I've cleaned and swept the kitchen and recycled at the junk mail that was piling up on the table.
I've disinfected and hosed out the wheelie bin and poured a layer of cat litter at the bottom which apparently stops it smelling.
I popped down for the YS run but didn't stay as it was all stuff I don't need. I did run into a regular I've not seen lately who I am planning on sharing a car boot pitch with one Sunday (she doesn't drive) so not a completely wasted journey.
I've picked four aubergines ready for pickling, I will soak them tonight then chop down the celery tomorrow night, I have fresh garlic and pickling vinegar, I just need to remember to defrost some chillies.

Clootie'sMum and Ally, I've had a read, I will give it a go, it was a long way back but I have the account number that they have given the company and they have confirmed that I did have PPI. I was self employed at the time so I have a good reason to claim it was mis sold.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
