    Morning you lovely friends

A quick touch base as I am off to the Oestopath - hooray, as I'm very crooked and jammed

Doings - yesterday - not a lot sofa surfing, a bit of Admin and some sorting for the charity shop

Financial - planned from a ready meal shop locally for In-laws meal tonight in the garden, instead of pub/takeaway but allowing us to spend time with them... plus a few treats for us, for date nights.... we did this at beginning of lockdown, about 1 a month.

    Thankfully.
    1. Rest
    2. OH looking after me
    3.  Friendship catch up on the phone.

Dancing... or should I say plodding/swaying along to this one "What the World Needs Now" Dionne Warwick

    Good afternoon lovely friends

Excuse the tardiness of the day, been a funny old 24hrs - which went pear shaped when i walked into the hair dressers hot and bothered from a very hot car journey, to find I did not pass their temperature test.... what upset me the most was the shock horror look of my hairdresser with the look like I had purposefully bought the plague to their door.

    So doings of yesterday.....
    1. In laws for breakfast in the garden
    2. Aborted trip to the hairdressers
    3. A massage!
    4. A conversation with 111 ( very Helpful) and with GP receptionist.... NOT - despite telling her 111 told me to ring and speak to my GP, apparently not possible and to go to my Walk in Centre... Emily at 111 had directed me to websites which clearly stated if potential Fever stay at home.
    5. Cheeky Nando's as cancelled a parental visit who was going to buy us Fish and Chips
    6. Retired to bed early totally peed off but couldn't settle....

    Financial
    1. Butchers - planned
    2. Planned Cash gift for in-laws birthdays
    3. Planned hairdresser - Cancelled!!!
    4. Thermometer - Unplanned
    5. Nandos - unplanned

    Thankfully
    1. Massage therapist
    2. Emily on 111
    3. Good wise friend on WhatsApp, debate about Covid Test.

To note my temperature is perfectly normal. The fever protocol questions were all negative, absolutely no Covid symptoms, so no test ( i was freaking out as I spasm at the dentist ( locking mouth firmly shut), but OH and I will self isolate for 7 days...

Song of the day..... All My Loving The Beatles in memory of my Mums school friend who died earlier this week....

So is it good or bad that you have to self isolate for 7 days

    Good morning you lovely friends

I am giving myself a pep talk this morning, as my "inner critic" has turned up. I am experiencing a lot of perimenopausal symptoms and have began to track these with a really good book called period power - so today is about being kind to myself, but ensuring I also keep plodding ( this is being said in a Tess Daley style ..... of Keep Dancing)

Yesterday's Doings ! - Not a lot - as we didn't get out of bed until lunch time - a lot of sofa surfing, although I did finish a blanket for Battersea

Financial - I gave in and bought a couple o pairs of trousers for Ebay, of a make that I have liked in the past, as I am really struggling with casual trousers for warm weather.

    Thankfully
    1. To be able to have a restful day.
    2. The ability to shop from your sofa
    3. The beautiful nectarine and melon I ate yesterday

Tune of the day.... Slave to the Vibe (Billon) from the Bridget Jones Soundtrack .....

I didn't realise being hot and bothered would give you a temperature high enough to fail the test at the hairdressers door. What a pain! I've got a haircut next week, the hairdressers is only a few doors away, might eat an ice lolly on the walk there just in case 🤣 I'm glad you've turned the unexpected isolation to your advantage though.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

It tested 101 - I would have been horizontal if that was true. However my body was already hot ( weather) couldn't find my mask at home, was then wearing it, and had sat in a very hot car in roadworks... my body doesn't self regulate very well, so I suspect my skin was very hot! and also dont talk about hormones  :p

Ice lolly's as precautionary measure sounds good
