Morning you lovely people
First day of our staycation and we were both glad we cancelled family as we are both tired.
Yesterdays doings:
1. Even though my body was reluctant I made it into the "village" the butchers was pleased to see me, and popped my head into the hairdressers I think my hairdresser was shocked at my crop
will need to book and see her for a shape. We had promised ourselves to support the churros stand, down the alley where our fruit and veg shop had set up an open air market. So budgeted for... what wasn't budgeted was the bread and cake stall... OH rolled his eyes as I treated us... well we are on our holibobs.
2. Went and parked down by the river to eat our churros which was lovely.
3. Back to the sofa, crocheting and the racing... which was very surreal in many ways than one... OH had a bet or two but I didn't as I said it had to come out of our pocket money accounts.... and Im broke!

Doings...
4. More TV - Celebrity Masterchef... I do like the lad from the Apprentice... and then Goodbye Christopher Robin, which I found terribly sad, and looked into more about them as a family. The Joy the stories bring to so many, but the tragedy of their lives in so many ways.
5. Yummy supper - old favourite Nigella Chicken and garlic....
Financial
OH grumbled that because I came with him I made an unplanned stop at the cake/bread pop up stall he hasn't't grumbled about eating the purchases all top quality as I said to him today, I wouldn't be stopping there every week, normally we would purchase nice things to eat when Self catering on holiday, and we are on "staycation"
I also have bought a women's urinal funnel , as I me and my bladder do get caught short and the small motor boat we are going on has only a "!!!!!! bucket" on tuesday I also think it will be handy for me in the future.... car journeys, festivals, camping etc...
Other shopping was planned out of weekly household budget....
Thankfully
1. Pushing myself to go out and see people in the High Street .... it was good for my mental wellbeing.
2. Sitting by the River
3. Sofa surfing with OH
4. Ability to plod

Morning you lovely people
Is it Monday already ?
Its a quiet day today in our household as OH is off we have a slow start, we've agreed its a chores / admin / cooking day.
I am really craving a clothes retail therapy shop, was looking at a favourite brand in the JL sale, put an item in the basket, and then went to check on the size - BINGO - wrong one - so temptation stalled!!!
Doings Yesterday
1. Slow Start
2. Podcasts and crochet - another win, was unsure whether the new yarn bought was the right colour for the current using up granny squares project and was really tempted to buy more - mixed bundle from new favourite yarn store, which was really cheap per yarn ball, but double figures for the bundle... or pop to local garden centre, but that would mean, wheelchairs and other temptations... however in the light of day yesterday... new yarn works - Win win !
3. Swallowed a frog and replied to an email, which I had been avoiding
4. Went to the Pub! Supported the one where we do quizzes, met a friend, I drove so I wasn't tempted to drink.... 10 people in the evening session so social distancing was fine and apart from the young barman - all of a certain age!
Financial
Two items we had advertised.... on gumtree have sold so a total of £74.00 paid off credit card £14 to my personal debt
Spent:
Fish man came - this was budgeted
Pub - minimised the cost as I was on soft drinks, - this was also budgeted
Avoided unplanned yarn spend !!!
Thankfully
1. That our local could reopen, we met a friend who lives alone and met other friends
2. I ate the frog and was firm, fair and diplomatic
3. That this diary really makes me think about my spending

Just to make you all giggle....
The “funnel” came and just tried.... well at least I remembered the advice of try it naked in the shower advice ! In conclusion Great bit of kit if you’re nubile and ok balance, and can thrust pelvis forward.... not if you have right sided hemiplegia - first me and the bathroom floor needs washing ! Think it will be tenalady tomorrow
