So glad the massage was helpful. I was with a relative who had osteopath treatment whilst I was there. The extra movement it gave her was amazing. Her neck emerged from her chest and lengthened.
    Mouse stories!! Eek.
Have a good day with many things to be thankful for at the end of it.

    Morning you lovely people.

Every time I remember these words, I hear the voice that says them ...this is Reg , from our church who since the beginning of lockdown has done at least a  weekly "thought for the day" Uncle Reg as calls himself, is 81, and has grown a beard since the beginning so yes all white looks like Father Christmas....  his thoughts are always upbeat despite lockdown on his own and knowing that his wife is in a local nursing home with Dementia, and of course not seen since March. I write this because  he has given many hope, raised spirit, and although our paths have not crossed... we share a love for bread pudding! He an ordinary man, reminds me who I need to aspire to be.

Waving @beanielou, @Sun_Addict thanks for dropping by... @beanielou hope you saw somme sun up North, and @Sun_Addict I pictured you curled up in the garden with that book... is it finished?

Thankyou @doingitanyway - foe popping in and commenting - my lovely Oestopath did work his magic yesterday, however if you were sitting on the moon I think you heard the massive cracks of realignment... the air was blue  :D:D. I am definitely taller and not lopsided  :#

Well what happened yesterday......  it was a non assignment day - 6 days to go to complete
    *Oestopath !
    * Garden furniture arrived!
*Bookkeeping job - payroll run and some queries dealt with....
    * OH payday!!!

    Financial Review

Work: Bookkeeping hours and surveys which is creeping up to the £10 voucher

    Out:
    Oestopath:  £52.00
Unplanned Takeaway ( Furniture arrived late, Council meeting, Heat and both of us feeling we physically couldn't cook): £44.58

    Debt 2019
Paid off: Camping Gear ( had been due second outing to festival in August... postphoned 2021)
Paid Off: 50th Birthday hotel stay
Paid Off: Cumbria Holiday ( Sept)
Paid Off: Hoover, Trolley ( the disability type so OH can move things from A & B) Bath Aid ( that lifts me up and down) new control and battery.
    Paid Off: Theatre Trip

We did have a mini celebration that we have now paid off all "home" costs and "Eating out and theatre trips" which we lost track of and had mounted up, the spiral of debt.... since the autumn we have paid them off immediately if they had already been planned.

We now have two aims for the next two months to pay off the three occasions we took friends out to celebrate my 50th and our New Year holiday.

OH is good at managing credit cards, and the remaining debt is mostly on zero balance credit cards...

    My Thankfuls for yesterday....

Being thankful for the healing hands of my oestopath....
Being thankful for sensible voting in a council meeting... we shall say no more
    Being thankful for Uncle Reg!
Being thankful for new garden furniture
Being thankful for VF on MSE
Being thankful I can live comfortably and safely at home
Being thankful, OH is in a job that is secure and we can pay off our debt....

And finally what am I dancing into the rest of today.... ( have I any suggestions).... Well last night I was debating how I could create a mini "Rewind" festival in the garden...... and this has just come on "We are Family" Sister Sledge, who we did see last year on stage.... so thinking jugs of mojito's; pink wigs, ra ra skirts, lace gloves and beads..... here we go

Have faith in the things you do.........

Another positive post and it's good to read that list of things you're thankful for. I've almost finished my book, down to the last few pages.  I'll imagine you sat on your new garden furniture in a pink wig and ra-ra skirt with a jug of mojito today 😎

    Morning you lovely people

Where is the sun? Overcast and has rained but I definitely am not complaining...... as I have a day in front on the laptop....

Started reading Gary Barlow's autobiography, which he is being very frank about his relationship with food.... one of his turning points was starting running.... @Sun_Addict I think you would agree that your running is beneficial to your mental wellbeing? Sadly running can't be part of my daily life, however, I can get moving more..... so todays challenge is to go back to my write 30mins then move.... since lockdown I have stopped pilates .... so now I am straight... I am going to message my pilates guy, to book a zoom session, to use all the pieces of equipment I have ( especially the very expensive spine corrector.... ). Also would like to find a free chair yoga session/video on u tube @beanielou, you do this don't you? I need to keep this flexibility.... plus watching what I eat......

    Yesterday doings.......

    * mostly dementia charity bookkeeping but this means ££

    * paid off some debt from my pocket money....

    * started a general house tidy up....

    * charity quiz on zoom for our local children's hospice

    * fish and chips and beer from the pub

    * sitting outside on new furniture watching a free (prime) film on laptop " A Walk into the Woods" based on Bill Bryson's book of same name which is autobiographical in the company of a friend he hikes the Appalachian Trail ..... he achieved a lifetimes ambition - not to die outdoors! Starred Robert Redford, Nick Nolte and Emma Thompson, was great film to finish the evening and the scenery was breathtaking.... it really made me think about finding the courage within me, to drive in the US ( OH couldn't as his car has too many specialist adaptations) 8/10 taking inspiration from @sugarbaby125 reviews if films on @helensbiggestfan diary.... Champagne Lifestyle.....

    Financial Update

Day spent on bookkeeping so ££ to be invoiced next tuesday

    Outgoings:

From "Pocket money" paid off 2 presents ( one has been drunk!) and a book from last Sept... £45.98

From “Joint” - Planned Pub: Fish and chips, beer and breakfast pack  - we also gave them a thank you card with a cash for a round of drinks, as they have been so good during lockdown. Three local lads bought the lease a couple of years ago, and taken it from a run down pub that we didn’t go in, to a great local, with riverside garden ( making the garden safe cost them 40K itself as the previous landlord had made it unsafe to stop river gypsies mooring, we won’t even think about the kitchen…. they have been known to run us home, when taxi’s have been scarce… they are reopening next week, and really taking care to put precautions in). The takeaways have been reasonable, we have never gone in every week as they are gourmet… which means ££ for surrey, but we use them for special occasion meals)

From “Joint” - Planned - a small donation to take part in the online quiz for the local children’s hospice.

    Being Thankful.

Thankful for the very good anti inflammatory pain patches!

    Thankful for the bookkeeping work

Thankful, that the MSE fairy pulled me back from buying a banner for next weeks at home Derby day celebrations….

Thankful for a lovely “at home” fun evening with OH

So, as I am drawing inspiration from Gary…. and I need to wait for it “Shine” in completing this assignment today…. guess what is now playing as I “dance” into the rest of the day………

    Morning you lovely people

The days are all rolling into one another at the moment..... that's the trouble with being on a deadline. I'm back facing a day at the computer but thats ok as I think I've turned the corner and I've got to be free tomorrow morning....

Thank you for all your lovely comments....

    Yesterday Doings.....
    *Assignment !
    *Washing
    *General tidy up
*OH did a relative run, for stuff that needs to find new homes... ( selling & charity)
    * Sewing Bee & Gary Barlow to relax

    Financial
Nothing Earned but neither has anything been spent !

    Thankfully for
*still enjoying assignment ... still interested
*OH doing the 'relative" run for me
*Sinking into the sofa watching Sewing Bee - generating lovely memories of my Mum, loved the winner and her Mum.
*reading Gary Barlow to unwind while OH watched footie
    * @beanielou for inviting me to chair yoga tomorrow.....

Now my energy levels are dipping ( day 2 of my 'winter' #periodpower #latenight #assignmentwriting ) so I need a bit of cheering up, and so this one reminds me of my Mum ( 21 years next month) a bit of Barry, remember her standing at her ironing board watching Barry on TV and singing..... waving her arms singing "Can't Smile without you"

Re pain patches, I can't take anti inflammatory pain killers ( ibrufen etc) like aspirin my stomach hates it. So I use a well known gel or patches, don't take the pain away but defiantly eases it.... will message you

Just messaging you about tomorrow...... x
