    Morning all

Its Friday! OH has the day off and lovely friend is coming to build birthday present. I am feeling out of sorts, a mixture between perimenopausal PMT and a twisted body. Cant do anything about the former but have just texted my oestopath.

    What did I achieve yesterday:

    1. Made Bed
    2. Moved the cat litter delivery
    3. Read the short and sweet lecture notes
    4. I managed to flea the "fur babies" what a palaver they hate it!
    5. MSE Diaries mine and others - thank you to all your friends on here
    6. Read an important text book but didnt complete that one......

    7. LEFT the House and went to both the Postbox and than stood with many others around the green (all socially distanced) to watch the Red Arrows and the Patrouille de France - it was fantastic and I admit did make me cry, seeing I think something traditional in this very surreal time. I wondered afterwards how many people understood what they were marking - the anniversary of De Gaulles speech about resisting the Nazi occupation.

    8. We then watched our local councils annual meeting and mayor making on U Tube that was another surreal moment and was quite tense - but OH and I survived ( the cause of the argument - we are opposites!) and all was well

    9. Finished off with the West wing and bed.....

Now to go off and payoff just a little towards our debt....  iTunes App £43.99 ( last year) Cancelled this year and Prime Video £12.99 last year - which would have been a TV serial I was binge watching - possibly Waking the Dead.

I have told myself I cannot buy anymore ( currently Vera) until I pay off all Prime Video's so this is the next target, after next weeks, last payment £45.99 for an app last year ( that again I have Cancelled.

So next target Prime Video debt totalling no including todays payment: £28.64 - which is not as bad as I thought - as in I am resisting temptation and buying more.

On that note OH is back from the butchers with bacon to feed us a "workers" breakfast and coffee is required.

    Morning all

Been AWOL for a day or so... as I am feeling really out of sorts

I really don’t want to get out of bed; I’m really tired; I’m in pain; I’m feeling very tearful; I am feeling anxious

I have to go and visit someone today - I don’t want to go - I feel I don’t have the emotional or physical strength.

On Friday my lovely friend made my lovely garden arbour, we then decided to venture out to the garden centre to get some plants to grow up it, now in my heart I knew this was a bad move ( should have bought just want required online) as we really wanted to change our garden furniture - a hand me down table and chairs are just not easy for my husband to eat at, and we eat outside as much as we can. We wanted /needed a new umbrella, to protect us from rain ( drizzle) and sun, and really wanted more of a lounge seating area for friends visiting. We have been resisting, as we are focusing on paying off debt not adding to it.... well you can guess what happened. I think we both were feeling lockdown crazy, and if no Covid19 I would now be sitting in a beach hut looking at the sea.

    Well the milk is spilt....

Also became very aware that our weekly housekeeping pot had been used to the max - realising that we had had more takeaways than the usual once a week. Reminded ourselves it was when OH had two days holiday for Wedding anniversary and it was cheaper than meals out, and it was giving him a break from cooking.

Yesterday to cheer myself up I succumbed to buying music, one "up to date tune" Fight Song Rachel Pattern which i then bought an album of "Car Songs" which has a lot of favourites on and lastly Bonnie Tylers Holdin Out for a Hero.

The last "spend" item is a Hand Held Deep Tissue massager, as OH it as cheaper than my weakly sports massage which I have not had since March - hoping this will help my current pain situation.

I was really stressed yesterday and moody poor OH, disaster around cake making, we have a piece of kit called a Thermomix, i was trying to run up a quick cake had fruit ( from Christmas Cake never made) soaking in tea. Managed to cream stork and sugar without realising there was water already in it. Used to cook something else... so everything in composter, and will have to wait a fortnight for an online delivery.... We are not doing any top up supermarket shops.

Tried to then put my head down to write essay but in too much pain....

Ended the day... outside, budgeted pub takeaway, a couple of pina coladas, got the fire pit going and then with a mug of tea in hand watched Fishermans Friends ( free on Prime)

Well thats it, I need to make my peace.

    Todays activities:

Visit to a relative, who moved on Friday, and lives on their own....

    Assignment writing

A massage of some description later..... ( please let it arrive before we go so I can put it on charge)

Thank you for listening and I hope understanding....

    Onwards and Upwards

Fake it to I make it....

    Morning all

Well I am up and dressed!

Yesterday went ok - relative was very pleased to see us, we took lunch and it was mostly a relaxed time. There was moments where I put right... it's not what is said... its how its said. I also tried to engage in a conversation in what I was doing at the moment. Afterwards I said to OH - he just wasn't interested were they? The answer was no. So I have done my duty.... and I have made a difference in their life and I need to be content with that.

Came home and spoke to other family members - now I was a little frustrated with OH when I asked him on Friday had he sorted a card for his Dad ! ( No) Yes we are not going out but we have an account with a funky bird website... but in the end he paid a subscription to an ecard co at 4 x the rate!!!! His Dad was pleased with it....  and we need to use the subscription for Christmas Cards although i actually really dislike them!

Tried to do some more work on my assignment but my pain is making it hard. Had a TV watching programme watched Back to the weekend... 1970's which bought back some memories - space hoppers, butterscotch angel delight..... Ambulance and WestWing.

OH used the new electric hand held massager on me - it is good and I could feel muscles letting go on tension but I'm still sore and there are other areas ( my neck) which are still locked.... roll on tomorrow with the Oestopath....

    Thankfully the sun is out
Thankfully I have a lovely OH who will feed me today
Thankfully I have a lovely home
Thankfully I have fur babies who love me
Thankfully I have voice recognition software and I can focus on my essay
Thankfully OH found my glasses that I thought I had left at the other place yesterday....

I have now put on Footloose... from my Car Songs Album.... and I'm dancing into this week.........
