    Afternoon all

Sitting in the garden, having given myself a day off, as OH is also on holiday too.. he’s been up the allotment, so I enjoyed some time home alone.

Feeling a bit better it definitely is the autumn part of my cycle.... where hormones are everywhere and so I have not many spoons.

So it’s payday, and we have managed to pay odd a considerable chunk of our listed credit card debit that takes us down to 4 figures. It also takes us to spending for last year only. Embarrassingly once you take out holidays then a lot is my person spending.

I have started to gather and list these on this diary to really remind me how out of control I have been.

Today I have paid off the second instalment of make up £55.00 and I realised I had a little bit of savings so have paid off all my personal spending in May which was £49.00  :(:o.

so I need to really hold myself accountable.

i did hit my head against an imaginary wall yesterday when I spotted a really good deal on my one Top branded Handbag, massively reduced... Dreamed of having savings...... OH said well we could consider one for our wedding anniversary .... I said have you got that in your pocket money account? No he replied would need to go on the credit card.  :s:s:blush: needless to say the email was looked on with pleasure then binned.

This weeks spending has included zoom SW which I attended this morning, and then promptly fed my mayonnaise bought for an event not used to my composter !

£5 to someone’s baby gift at bookkeeping job, felt mean sending less ho hum,

Well done for resisting the handbag. There are some great offers about at the moment, they’re all after the money we’re not spending on meals and trips out etc.

Well I have to confess I have one, bought as a gift, after I gave away 365 things and didn’t buy anything for a year !

    Evening all

sitting in the garden, have to say, it’s a tad chilly, but I needed the air.

We had a lovely weekend, mostly in the garden doing work and chilling. Putting plants,  cleaning and sorting a garden shed.

We’ve had a brunch bbq, now run out of charcoal, none on Ocado, so had to resort to prime, but as this is something we really enjoy doing we thought it was worth it.

We did a quiz on Friday night on zoom for the children’s hospice which was fun, but not for my intake of calories -  beer ! I also helped host a zoom poetry get together which was good and lovely to see a few friendly faces.  Spoke to other friends, again lovely but not the same as the real thing.

Have spent on a few things, a rotating spatula for our thermomix to get under the blades, I steamed a whole chicken In it on Sunday it was lush.  Litre of acetate to see if I can get the crumbling foam off the arms of my garden recliner, they have lost the top cover and underneath looks both horrible and makes me shiver when I touch ! Finally amazon got me on a kindle book, an extra 40% off, on the latest of a favourite author, my reward this coming weekend for submitting my assignment !

    Ocado order tonight for Thursday.

I think June is definitely going to be use up stocks, as we are having more regular deliveries for dairy items, rather than topping up locally, as not going out.

Is it time to go to bed yet ? #perimenopausal, #bookkeeping #uniwork
