Hello all
Had a lovely day at embroidery - kept within my lunch budget, didn’t spend anything else
Came home and edited my assignment and submitted it, to see if plagiarism was ok - it was - so OH just has to proof read, before resubmitting tomorrow
And so to bed very early start in the morningAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Dear Diary and friends
Waving Beanielou
The days are non stop at the moment and I just want to get off of this mad roundabout but I can’t
We are haemorrhaging unplanned money all over the place...... from small amounts - duvet having to be dry cleaned ( poorly cat ) to a new washing machine, to drain services ( we had our paths jet washed and all the debris blocked the shower room drain.... )
We are full on doing ..... Christmas Day we are sitting down around 75 and there’s so much to do, my mother in law said at the weekend don’t do too much... and my reply wanted to be who else is going to do it - elves !
I also have a bit of the blues because if we weren’t doing this, Christmas would be just empty...
Right I’m going to kick myself up the bum... and go and finish 50 yes 50 gift/goodie bags.
Yesterday’s church talk,.. was to remember to have fun, what’s that and hello up there when will I have time to do that ?
At this time of year, if you have the opportunity phone a friend or family remember there’s lots of people out there who find this time of year very difficult....
Ps - paying off 2017 debt is not looking good ......As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Just caught up with you and I'm so sorry to read about your cat
We get so attached to our fur babies and it's devastating when we lose them.
Have I read it right that there are 75 of you for Christmas dinner
Hope you get some time to yourself amidst all the doing xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I don’t know how you do it.
I really don’t.
Good luck with the goody bags.

Afternoon all
I have missed you, and decided this was the day when I was going to reach the goal of logging on and catching up ! To find it's all changed, not sure about it.
We are in very strange times are we not, OH and I started a graduated lockdown from Saturday 14th March when we decided not to go to the ballet. After that it was only work, shopping and the osteopath until full lockdown. Now everything comes to us, we have ventured out twice to our pub, who are doing takeout fish and chips on a Friday, with regimented times and different pick up places so you don't queue or see anyone else.
OH work is in IT/Financial Services and usually works from home 3/5 days a week, so there is really no change in work routine for him.
I still have bookkeeping to do for the small dementia charity, which is now closed so this will dry up this month.
College is still rolling and I have three assignments due in stagnated in the next 6 weeks.....
I am very conscious that we are in a very fortunate position, secure financially, lovely home and garden, we can sit out this time very much protected. My thoughts and prayers are often with all those who are facing huge struggles and hurdles, whether for health, wellbeing or financial one. I am in awe with all our key workers.
In order to maintain my mental wellbeing at this time, I am setting myself challenges. Also conscious of my Occupational Therapy Skills, keeping to a rigid structure... more of this in another post.
We are really focusing on our debt, we commented on lunch time that really sticking to buying essential items only and one take away week to support our local pub, we are going to see a great indent in our balances.
I need to go back to work ..........
Will post more later
